INTERIOR RENOVATIONS: Finally, we are

finalizing the interior renovations of the church. This is

a good thing but we need your cooperation on taking

care of our sacred space of worship. Please do not step

on the kneelers, put gum under the pews. Also, I ask

that we all support our activities to raise money to

support our parish. God bless your generosity.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM: For the

year 2020 – 2021 we will have a home based parish

religious education formation for the children, young

adults and the RCIA. The students and candidates will

receive their religious education sessions once a week

for 90 minutes via ZOOM.

REGISTRATION: Beginning this weekend new

students and candidates can download the application

form from the parish website:

saintceciliaparishnyc.org, fill the form, attach

baptismal certificate, or if not baptized a copy of birth

certificate and mail it to the parish office or drop it off.

THE ASSUMPTION OF OUR LADY: We

will celebrate the Solemnity of the

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on

Saturday, August 15th, 2020. We will have a

bilingual mass in honor of her at 12:00pm. We

HORARIOS DE MISA: tenemos una misa

diaria a las 8:00 am de lunes a viernes y las

misas de fin de semana son las siguientes;

Sábados a las 5:00 pm misa en inglés y 7:00

pm misa en español. Los domingos tenemos

misa en inglés a las 9:00 a.m. y misa en

español a las 11:00 a.m.

PROTOCALS TO COME TO CHURCH:

First, have your mask on at all times. Second,

if you need time to climb the stairs please

come at 30 minutes before time. Third, if you

are family please come together so as to sit to-

gether. Fourth, make a line and be patient.

Fifth, follow the rules ones you in the church.

Sixth, no holy water, no hymnals or missals no

sign of peace, communion in the hand and of-

fertory will be at the end. We are allowed to

celebrate mass but with only 25% of the

church’s capacity, which is, 160 individuals in

our church.

MASS SCHEDULES: We have a daily mass at

8:00am Monday to Fridays and weekend

masses are as follows; Saturdays at 5:00pm

English mass and 7:00pm Spanish mass. On

Sundays we have 9:00am English mass and

11:00am Spanish mass.

OUR SENIORS: To all our seniors who come

to the 11:00am Spanish Mass, I am asking

them to come in by 10:30am so that you can be

seated in the main church down stairs. It is un-

comfortable for the hospitality to remove peo-

ple from their sits and send them upstairs. Let

us work together as we pray together in these

difficult moments.
