TWETY-SECOD SUDAY I ORDIARY TIME AUGUST 31, 2014
Dear Parishioners,
I have the sad duty to report that our parish organist, John Norigian, has accepted a
position in another parish which is more in line with his personal goals for the
future. John has been with St. Catherine’s Parish Family for several years now.
From what I have observed he has added a great deal to the musical praise of the
parish. I have heard from several people that John has been very easy to work with
and has supported the parish choir. John will be missed but we pray for him and
wish him well in his new position. Best wishes and prayers also go to his sister,
Kate, who will no longer be able to be with us as well.

God of wisdom and might,
we praise you for the wonder of our being,
for mind, body and spirit.
Be with our children as they begin
a new school year.
Bless them and their teachers and staff.
Give the strength and grace as their bodies grow;
wisdom and knowledge to their minds
as they search for understanding;
and peace and zeal to their hearts.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
