Members of our St Vincent de Paul Society will conduct it’s annual

Food Pantry Drive. Food collection will be this weekend Nov. 8-9.

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE

Each November, we remember and pray for our

beloved deceased. We will again have the BOOK OF

REMEMBRANCE in the Sanctuary during every Mass.

Please submit names in writing to the Parish Office with

your donation and your phone number. Envelopes are

available at the Church entrance and can be mailed in or

dropped into the collection basket.

THE DEDICATION OF THE LATERAN BASILICA NOVEMBER 9, 2014

Congratulations to Joan Ferguson and Deacon John Pepi who were

notified this week by Cardinal O’Malley that they are recipients of

the Cheverus Medal. This award is given to men and women

throughout the Archdiocese in recognition of their selfless dedica-

tion and commitment and their many contributions to advancing

Christ’s mission. They will be receiving their award from the

Cardinal at a Solemn Vespers service of evening prayer at the

Cathedral of the Holy Cross on Sunday, November 23 at 3PM.

This is a great honor for them and for our parish.

MINISTRY TO THE SICK

Our clergy and Eucharistic Ministers are happy to visit any-

one who is seriously ill or who cannot, for some reason, come

to Church to receive the Sacraments. If you, or someone you

know, will be hospitalized, recuperating in a nursing facility,

or homebound and would like a visit, please call the Parish

Office at 978-897-2171.

BIBLE STUDY

We meet on Tuesdays at 9:30AM in the Mary Room at the

school. All are welcome to join us. For more information call

Barbara at 978-897-8252.

BAPTISM CATECHESIS

We are looking for a few volunteers to assist in our Teachable

Moment Program for parents and godparents of children

about to be baptized in our parish. Commitment is only 1

hour per month, on a Thursday at 7PM. Full training will be

provided! If you enjoy bringing the good news of the Lord to

welcome young couples on this happy occasion, please con-

tact the Parish Office.

ST BRIDGET BOOK CLUB

The book club with Fr. Walsh will meet every two weeks

from 10:30-11:15AM in the lower church. The book will

be “Jesus of Nazareth from the Baptism in the Jordan to the

Transfiguration” by Pope Benedict XVI (Joseph Ratzinger).

When ordering the book make sure you give the full title as

this Pope wrote three books under the simple title “Jesus of

Nazareth” If you have any question you may call Father

Walsh at the Campion Center at 781-788-6876. New mem-

bers are welcome.

CHRISTMAS CHOIR

To all St. Bridget Parishioners - Your Choir and your Choir

Director, Ron Chibaro, are in urgent need of additional sing-

ers for Christmas. No experience is necessary. We would

like you to join our ranks and experience the joy of singing

for God. Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights beginning De-

cember 3rd from 7:30-9PM. If you have any questions, please

feel free to either stop by after Mass on Sundays or write Ron

at stbrigetschoir@aol.com.
