SAIC Amphibious Combat Vehicle 1.1 Ingenuity to Sustain and Modernize Your Operations Designed for the U.S. Marine Corps, the SAIC ® Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) 1.1 supports U.S. Marine expeditionary operations no matter the mission. Our ACV 1.1 is an enhanced 8x8 wheeled, armored, amphibious vehicle with improved mobility that protects U.S. Marines. SAIC’s ACV 1.1 optimized size balances lift requirements and its embarkation footprint maximizes the surface connector and self-deployment landing plans to lighten the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF). SAIC, with team member ST Kinetics, developed a solution that expands the maneuver space across littoral, land, and inland water environments.

Mobility on Land and in WaterOn land, SAIC ACV 1.1’s independent suspension system offers enhanced ground mobility and improves ride quality for Marines over the roughest terrain. Its Central Tire Inflation System enables automated inflation and deflation of tires to accommodate different terrain while on the move. Additionally, skid steering and large-footprint, off-road tires enhance maneuverability in diverse terrain.

During water operations, our ACV 1.1 uses hydraulically driven propulsion systems with fully independent thrust to safely swim at Sea-State 3 and through six-foot plunging surf. Additionally, force protection improvements enable ship-to-shore swim at full protection level with a full combat load.

Vehicle Specifications• Operational from L-Class Ships and surface connectors

• Specialized amphibian subsystems for engine cooling and engine air induction

• Safe for Sea-State 3 operations

• Seats three crew and up to 11 embarked Marines (5th to 95th percentile)

• Stores two DOS for Embarked Marines

• Upgradeable, two-axle steering enables tight well deck maneuvers

• Uses Heavy Machine Gun (.50cal / 40mm)

• Compact Profile (336”L x 142”W x 141”H)• Upgraded Caterpillar Engine (C9.3-600hp)• Closed Hatch Mission Capability with day/night 360

degree situational awareness from 10 Fusion Cameras
