Safety On The Internet!!!!

Introduction

• There are lots of things to know about the internet.

• My PowerPoint will help you learn.

• Please enjoy!

Rules!!!!

• The internet sometimes has bad pictures and bad words.

• So if you find a bad picture or bad words, tell an adult, like your parents or teacher.

• If you are on the internet, to avoid bad stuff go to settings and turn on safe search. It will help.

If you’re new…

• If you are new to the internet have an adult near you for the first couple times.

• If you’re new, look up stuff that your parents approve of.

• It always helps if you look up stuff that's age appropriate .

Adults need to know

• Lots of adults need to know that some kids are looking up stuff that’s inappropriate.

• Although its not their fault make sure your siblings are looking up stuff that’s appropriate.

Images

• Sometimes when you go on the internet you may look at images.

• Some are nice to look at and some aren't nice.

• So make sure look up stuff that’s appropriate.

Don’t forget

• Don’t forget these rules apply to everybody in your house, so tell everyone in your house to be careful about the internet.

• Tell them that your in charge!!!
