RecessFor aluminium Y Spar ladders and twin ladders.To insert and take out the fall arresters. As thefall protection unit does not have a protectingfunction within the recess, there must be anend stop „below“ above the 2. notch of therecess. The end stop must be orderedseparately.

The recess may only be provided at thebeginning of the climbway. At thebeginning of climbway involving the riskof falling for the user, it is not allowed toutilize the recess.

In case the fall arrester will be taken outfrom the climbway during its course, thanan exit section has to be used.

At the time of ordering the part of theladder with recesses must be marked withan "A" or the notice "with recess".

Exit SectionUsed for secure removing/inserting the fallarrester from/into the guide-rail, e.g. onplatforms. See page A 15. Comes with fixingsand setting out/drilling jig to enable accurateinstallation. May be also refitted into alreadyexisting Söll Aluminium ladders.


Factory assembly of the exit sectionAt the time of ordering, the part of the ladderwith the factory assemled exit section must bemarked with "AV" or the notice "with assemledexit section". In the case of assembly at thefactory please also specify the installationheight.
