Buffs Hold Their Own Against the #8 Valley Patriots

Although the Patriots defeated the Buffs 12 to 6, the boys looked good and much improved. They seem to be ready to continue the

Buffalo Tradition Six-Man style.

A good crowd attended the game to , cheer on the Buffaloes. As in

the past, the kids from both teams enjoyed the Annual

Ice Cream Supper.

Safety First!! Whew! Can you believe that we have already been in school 13 days? We sure have been busy learning many new things, but eve­rything is settling 'down to a routine now. The first week and a. half we have learned about safety. It is required ,that the school teach us about s~fety. We have learned how to stay safe at home, on a bus, in case of fire and when we cross the street. As you can see from the pictures we learned about fire safety from Stephen Marquez and Orlando Marquis, two of our local volunteer fire­fighters. ' They showed us how a fire truck works and they taught us~,whaf to do in case we are on fire., Do you know what to do? You' drop and -roll of course! Thanks, Orlando and· Stephen. On

' Mo'nday, 'Randy-Mayfleld' 'our ' s~litibl's bus ' for~tTIa~ showed ' us bus safety. He -took us on a ride in the bus ,and explained to us why w.e need stay in our seats while the bus is moving. He also ,said that we need to keep our head, arms, and feet inside the bus, not out the windows. What fun we had riding around town . in a big yello'Y bus. Thanks! Randy.
