Integrated antimicrobial technology. Built into all of our yarns at the polymer level, Microban® technology gives Chilewich products an added level of protection against stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew.

Streamlined cleaning. Antimicrobial protection not only extends the life of our products but also makes them easier to maintain and keeps them cleaner between sanitizations.

Free of phthalates and heavy metals. Our yarns are made in the USA by extruding phthalate-free vinyl over a core of fiberglass or polyester.

Enduring protection. The antimicrobial technology does not wash off or wear away, and will continually fight against potentially harmful bacteria that make contact with the surface of the product.

One-step disinfection. Kill pathogens without fear of damage or discoloration. For all woven Chilewich products, a 50:1 water/bleach solution left on the surface for at least one minute will disinfect the material. Woven products can also be wiped with an EPA-registered disinfectant. For pressed table mats, hydrogen peroxide may be used.
