Proven expertise over many years

Over 30 years ago, 3M scientists developed a product which would help effectively protect building entrances

from dirt. The first Nomad™ matting product with its revolutionary vinyl ‘coiled loops’ was developed to help

remove moisture as well as dirt and debris. Incorporating carpet fiber technology, 3M expanded its entrance

matting offering. Today, thanks to continuous innovation and proven expertise, 3M offers a complete line of

entrance matting as well as Safety-Walk™ branded wet area and anti-fatigue work area matting.

The 3M™ Nomad™ Entrance Matting System is designed to stop dirt and moisture at the door, helping keep floors clean

The first line of defense in the Nomad™ Entrance Matting System.

Vinyl-loop scraper matting is designed to trap dirt and moisture before it gets in

the door. Designed for outdoor entrances and recessed wells. The backed mats are

suitable for indoor applications.

3M™ NOMAD™ SCRAPER MATTING – Z-WEB

Z-web scraper matting is designed to trap dirt and moisture before it gets in the door.

Designed for outdoor entrances, recessed wells and foyers. The backed mats are

suitable for interior spill areas.

3M™ NOMAD™ MODULAR MATTING Vinyl tiles with carpet strips scrape dirt as well as remove and hold moisture.

Tiles snap together and are designed for recessed well applications.

3M™ SAFETY-WALK™ CUSHION MATTING A range of vinyl and rubber cushion mats that provide comfort for long periods of

standing. Available in solid surface or open hole construction. Range includes modular

and individual piece mats.

3M™ NOMAD™ CARPET MATTING 3M™ Nomad™ Carpet Matting features a patented dual-fiber design: large, crush-

3M™ Oil & Petroleum Sorbents

For absorbing oil not water. Being hydrophobic (repel water) they

are ideal for absorbing oil from areas where water may also be

present.

3M™ Chemical Sorbents

An ideal solution for hazardous spill control. They provide very

high absorption capacities and are suitable for absorbing a very

wide range of liquids – even aggressive acids and alkalis.

For leaks and drips of non aggressive fluids, 3M General Purpose

sorbents (sometimes referred to as maintenance sorbents), are

ideal for absorbing oil and other industrial fluids cleanly and

efficiently. They are lightweight and very quick to deploy. They

are long lasting and highly absorbent (up to 25 times their own

weight) absorbing most fluids very quickly. 3M General Purpose

Sorbents are not suitable for absorbing aggressive liquids.

General purpose sorbents by 3M are made from inert, synthetic

fibres principally of polypropylene and polyester. They are avail-

able in several formats and are lightweight and dust free. They

have a high absorption capacity which minimises the amount of

waste for disposal.

3M™ Sorbent Booms

Used to stop the spread of a spill, booms are the first line in spill

containment. Once you have booms in place you can then use

pads, rolls or pillows to recover the spilt liquids.

3M™ Sorbent Pads

Ideal for clean up and recovery of spilt liquids. Pads are used like

a wipe and very versatile for getting at hard to reach areas. They

may also be left on a spill area to soak up liquids.

3M™ Sorbents Rolls

Rolls provide the ability to use the exact amount of sorbents

required. You can leave the amount of sorbent needed on the spill

to soak up larger areas. They can also be used as matting in dirty

areas or where contamination is an issue.

3M™ Sorbent Pillows

Ideal for reaching spilt liquids in hard to reach areas such as bilge

pumps, drains, sumps and holding tanks.

3M™ Folded Sorbents

This versatile product is four formats rolled into one. Able to be

used as a boom, sheet, pad or pillow, allowing one product to

be stocked for almost any liquid spill. Perforations every 40cm

permit the required length of sorbent to be selected so there is no

waste. The handy dispenser allows easy onsite or off-site use and

can be wall mounted.

3M™ Floorsweep

Floorsweep is made of biodegradable cellulose material which is

presented in a finely divided granular form.

3M™ Spill Response Kits

3M Spill Kits give you the ability to have response materials

close to any potential hazard area. Kits contain a combination of

sorbents, respirators, protective equipment, contaminated waste

bags, instructions and are stored in a bin or cab bag. 3M Spill
