Ethics• All solutions should be with minimum force
and minimum violence!
• All solutions must be able to integrate in your patient handling.
Three different patients• Positive active
• Passive
• Negative active
Why aggresive?• Scared?• Pain?• Disorientated?• Medical reason?
Pain• A good grip has to have contact with the
inside of the hand.
Exercise
Force creates an opposite force• The more force you apply the more force is
likely to come back to you.

Balance• If you put the patient in an unbalanced
position they will increase force/muscle activity

Natural pattern• Since we were young we have been following
the natural pattern. If you dont follow that when you move the patient they will not help you. Maybe they will even resist or fight back.
