PREFACE
As we know that we are living in the e-world. Everything is going to be
performed electronically using computers. Computers have become
altogether indispensable in modern life. The time of keeping the records
manually in books and registers had passed out. Though Computers came in
India only a few years ago, but we can see their wide impact on the society
in many different occupations for a wide verity of applications.
Publication is the place where a number of copies of books available. As the
growth of concept of the computerization the Publication sector has logged
the facility of the computerized management system, which makes a person
more convenient in handling day to day management tasks.
Sadhana Kendra Automation System helps the user in feeding all the details
about books information ,author information ,dealers Information, price
detail ,Course papers, Supplier Details, ,Feedback of Employees visitor
record, Dak (Letter) Record etc.
Sadhana Kendra Automation System maintains the updated information
at all the times, so that we gate refresh results whenever we require the
same.
Of much software that we are currently in common use none is either
to learn or to use other than Microsoft Visual Basic. Net because of its
simplicity and easy programming techniques to make a program user
interactive and easy to operate and also use RDBMS as MS - Access. It is
commonly used when a large volume of the database is to be handled as in
the case of Sadhana Kendra Automation System.

About Acharya Shree Nanesh Samta Vikas Trust
About Trust:-
Acharya Shree Nanesh Samta Vikas Trust was established in 1992 by its
Founder Trustees Mr. H.S. Ranka managing trustee, Mr. R.K. Sipani & U.C.
Khinvesra joint managing trustees & Mr. M.L Mehta (Ex. Chief secretary,
Govt. of Rajasthan) & Mr. Paras Kuhar (Senior advocate, High Court of
Rajasthan) as trustees with an objective to spread peace, prosperity &
happiness through “Education, Social service & Spiritual Elevation” for
the benefits of rural masses & young generation.
The Trust Township ‘Nanesh Nagar’ is spread in about 200 thousand sq.mtr.
Of land with beautiful buildings & lush green gardens with a capacity to

Hardware & Software Requirements
To develop various software modules computer system is needed. A high-
speed processor is preferred.

Visual Basic .Net
Visual Basic .Net is a windows programming language that has been
developed at Microsoft Corporation. Visual Basic.Net is a powerful
language that provides the facility to develop the GUI environment for any
application software.
Basically Visual Basic.Net is considered as the front end tool which
provides the GUI environment for any application software. Through this
GUI environment user can easily insert data, update data and delete data
from a back end RDBMS/DBMS. Visual Basic.Net has a very easy and
good connectivity with many popular DBMS/RDBMS like SQL Server,
ORACLE, and MS-Access etc.
Microsoft .NET Framework
The .NET Framework is the infrastructure for the Microsoft .NET platform.
The .NET Framework is an environment for building, deploying, and running Web applications and Web Services.
Microsoft's first server technology ASP (Active Server Pages), was a powerful and flexible "programming language". But it was too code oriented. It was not an application framework and not an enterprise development tool.
The Microsoft .NET Framework was developed to solve this problem.

MS Access 2003
Microsoft Office Access Previously knows as Microsoft Access is a
relational database management system from Microsoft that combines the
relational Microsoft database Engine with a graphical user interface and
software development tools.
Assess can use data store in access/jet , Microsoft SQL server , Oracle , or
any ODBC compliant data container. Skilled software developers and data
architects use it to develop application software. Relatively unskilled
programmers and non-programmer “power user” can use it to built simple
application. It supports some object oriented techniques but falls short of
being a fully object oriented development tool.
Access Concepts and Terms
Database: - A Database is simple collection of useful data or collection of
related tables.
Table: - Table is collection of similar data item. The data item is organized
into row and column.
Relational Database: - Oracle is a Relation database system , which means
that it allows data has stored in different places to be linked and access
properly. The main advantage of this system is that:-

Records: - A record is a collection of information contained in one row of
an Oracle Table.
Fields: - Fields are places in a table where it store individual piece of
information.
Primary Key or Indexed Fields: - Oracle use key fields and indexing to
help speed many database operations. The user can tell which field should be
key field.
All values in the key fields must be unique no duplicity.

Feasibility Study
Depending on the result of the initial investigation, the survey is expanded to
a more feasibility study. Feasibility study is a test does a system proposal
according to its workability impact on the organization, ability to meet user
needs and effective use of resources.
It focuses on three major questions which are as follows:-
1. What are the user’s demonstrable needs and how does a candidate
system meet them?
2. What resources are available for given candidate system? Is the
problem worth solving?
3. What are the likely impact if the candidate system on the
organization? How well dose it fit the organization’s master MIS
plan?
The objective of a feasibility study is not to solve the problem but acquire a
sense of its scope. The result of feasibility study is a formal proposal.
This is simply a report – a formal document detailing the nature and the
scope of the proposed solution. The proposal summarizes what is known and
what is known and what is going to be done. Three key considerations are
involved in the feasibility analysis are as follows:-

Economic Feasibility
Economic analysis is the most frequently used method for evaluating the
effectiveness if a proposed system. It is produces to determine the benefits
and savings that are expected from a proposed system and compare them
with costs. If benefits outweigh costs, then the decision is made to design
and implement the system. Otherwise, further justification or alterations in
the proposed system will have a change of being approved. The benefits of
the project are cost-saving benefits, cost-avoidance benefits, and improved-
service level benefits and improved –information benefits. After all the
calculations, I found that benefits outweigh costs; hence a decision is taken
to design and implementation the system .Thus the proposed project is
economically feasible.
Technical Feasibility
Technical feasibility centers on the existing computer system (Hardware,
Software, Etc) and to what extent it can support the proposed system.
This is concerned with specifying the equipments and the software that will
successfully satisfy the management’s requirements for a Publication. It
involves in determining whether or not a system can actually be constructed
to solve the problem of the Publication management at hand.
As we know the in the existing manual system the expert of
every field like librarian, accountant, clerk , Heads etc are required .By
using the system, we can minimize the requirement of technical manpower
which not only decreases the dependency upon technical staff but also
improves the efficiency & consistency in work.

Here the system can easily be constructed as we are using Visual Basic .Net
as the front end, which provides a complete set of tools which simplifies the
application development. We use the most popular RDBMS, i.e. ORACLE,
as the back end because it helps me in preserving my investment in existing
systems through easy data interoperability, while providing the additional
functionality and cost-effectiveness that the existing database system do not
provide .Thus it can be said that the project is technically feasible.
Operational Feasibility
The proposed project is of course beneficial only if it can be turned into the
information system that will meet the Publication operating requirements.
This test of feasibility asks that if the system will work when developed and
installed at the Publication. The management is providing the sufficient
support for the project and the employees of the Publication are been
involved in the planning and development of the project also they will be
able to work with the proposed system. Considering all the operational
aspects, it is concluded that the current project would be operationally
feasible.
As the current project proposal has passed all these above feasibility tests,
hence it is judged to be a feasible project.
