In 2005, Advanced Systems launches the columnar DBMS “Sadas”, which was able to perform between 10 and 100 times better compared to traditional systems structured by row. In 2006 this product is presented to Munich International Conference on Database Technologies (EDBT).This software will later be completed by a Business Intelligence tool, Sadas BI, thus giving birth to an omnicomprehensive platform for analysing and managing whole slews of data.

Kicking off from such a technological heritage, SADAS S.r.l has further improved the power of the DBMS: Sadas Engine is now an outstandingly quick and powerful tool for real time searches on ten-year historical span. Coupled by a query by example tool, Sadas Web, and by the already mentioned Sadas BI, Sadas Engine forms a suite of invaluable software for coping with the challenges of modern economy in the digital era.

Its applications? Potentially unlimited, whenever analysis on massive amounts of data is required: bank accounts movements, mobile data, analysis of customers’ risk profile, records from GPS devices, audience statistics on broadcasting companies, risk management, strategic marketing, orders management and lots more.
