ദശാംശം െകാടുക്കുക, േമശ പങ്കിടുക, ഉള്ളവൻ ഇലല്ാത്തവന് െകാടുക്കുക, ഇത് േയശുവിെന്റ കാലം മുതേല തുടരുന്ന യാഥാർ ത്ഥയ്മാണ് . "േചാദിക്കുന്നവനു െകാടുക്കുക, വാ വാങ്ങാൻ ഉദയ്മിക്കുന്നവനിൽ നിന്ന് മാറിേപ്പാകരുത് ." ധനികനായ മനുഷയ്ൻ ധനം ഏറി വന്നേപ്പാൾ അസവ്സ്ത നായി. ഇത് ഇന്നിെന്റ ഒരു േനർ രൂപമാണ് . പണം ഏറുേമ്പാൾ അസവ്സ്തത വർദ്ധിക്കുക. കണ്ടിട്ടിേലല് ഒന്നുമിലല്ാത്തവൻ സവ്സ്ത മായി കടതിണ്ണയിൽ കിടന്നുറങ്ങുന്നത് . എന്നാൽ അൽപ്പം ഉള്ള വേനാ ഉറക്കം നഷ്ടെപ്പടുന്നു. അവൻ ഓടിനടക്കുന്നു. പരേവശം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ധനികൻ ചിന്തിച്ചു njാെനന്തുെചയയ്ും. ഈ ധാനയ്ം മുഴുവൻ സൂക്ഷിക്കാൻ എനിക്കു സ്ഥലം ഇലല്േലല്ാ. അടു ത്തപടി മനസ്സിൽ ഒരു ചിന്ത. ഉള്ളത് െപാളിക്കുക, വലിയവ പണിയുക. പുര മീെത പുര പണിയുക. ഇന്ന് ഇപര്കാരം ചിന്തി ക്കുന്നവരുെട എണ്ണം ഏറിവരുന്നു. നാട്ടിേല മടങ്ങി േപാകാൻ

The Christian Profession of Faith

Q25. Why does the faith require definitions and for-mulas?

A25. Faith is not about empty words but about real-ity. In the → CHURCH, condensed formulas of faith developed over the course of time; with their help we can contemplate, express, learn, hand on, celebrate, and live out this reality.

Without fixed forms, the content of the faith would dis-sipate. That is why the Church attaches great importance to definite sentences, the precise wording of which was usually achieved painstakingly, so as to protect the mes-sage of Christ from misunderstandings and falsifications. Furthermore, creeds are important when the Church’s faith has to be translated into different cultures while be-ing preserved in its essentials, because a common faith is the foundation for the Church’s unity.

Q26. What are creeds?

A26. → CREEDS are brief formulas of faith that make it possible for all believers to make a common profession.

Brief formulas of this kind can be found already in the letters of St. Paul. The early Christian Apostles’ Creed has a special dignity, because it is thought to be a summary of the faith of the → APOSTLES. The Nicene Creed is highly esteemed because it resulted from the great councils of the Church when she was still undivided and is to this day the common basis for the Christian in the East and the West.

Q27. How did the creeds come about?

A27. The →CREEDS go back to Jesus, who com-manded his disciples to baptize. In doing so, they were to require of the people seeking Baptism the profession of a definite faith, namely, faith in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The original cell from which all later CREEDS grew is the profession of faith in Jesus the Lord and in his mission-ary mandate. He told his apostles, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit”. All the creeds of the Church are elaborations of the faith in this Triune God. Each of them begins with a profession of faith in the Father, the Creator and preserver of the world, then refers to the Son, through whom the world and we have found redemption, and concludes with a profession of faith in the Holy Spirit, who is the presence of God in the Church and in the world.

Eight teams from each group: Primary and Middle Schools will be competing for the recognition of being the best in their respective group. Prizes will be distributed for the winners.

The topic of each group will be: Primary School Grades: Gospel of St. Mathew Chapter 1 to 6 & Holy Rosary (History, How to Pray, and Mysteries) Middle School Grades: Gospel of St. Luke Chapter 1-10 & Stations of the Cross (14 Stations).
