FOODCEMENT, BUILDING MATERIALS AND CHEMICALS

Valve sacks, for cement and other powdered mate-

rials, are filled using compressed air. The filling met-

hod is fast and requires some extreme properties from

the paper. With a unique combination of strength and

porosity, Nordic Paper fulfils the highest standards im-

posed by the industry. Our paper is suitable for PE coa-

ting when the contents or climates call for a moisture

barrier. Thanks to the strength properties of our kraft

paper, and the new design possibilities this offers, we

are helping to reduce the amount of packaging mate-

rial required in the industry.

Nordic Paper produces unbleached sack kraft paper for packaging of food, construction materials

and other industrial products. The pulp for our paper comes from our own pulp mill and is produced from

100% virgin fibre, using pulp wood from the Scandinavian forests only. We employ the latest technology

in our factories, which are working under strict environmental control. This allows us to fulfil

the toughest demands on paper properties, runability and the environment.

THE WORLD'S STRONGEST SACK PAPER

We have recently launched the world's strongest

sack paper under the name of T+. Dunnage bags are

an application where the extreme strength properties

of T+ are put to the test. The bags are inflated like

balloons and are used for void filling and load securing

during transportation of heavy or sensitive products.

BIOKRAFT - ADMIRE IT, BUT BE QUICK

There are several years of development behind

BioKraft, our new special paper for waste management.

The paper unites the two most important properties of

a composting paper. Wet strength and high

biodegradability. Biokraft is the first, and only,

composting paper with a Kappa certification. The

proof that it meets SP Swedish National Testing

and Research Institute requirements on

biodegradability.
