    Sabaidee readers!

February is a time for celebrating romance. So for our 24th issue

we take you to eight destinations to help you start to create a long

lasting romance. From the grand Kong Lor cave in Khammoune,

to the cloud covered mountain peaks of Xaysomboun, and the

invigorating air at the Tad Fane Waterfall there is a chance you

could fall in love with these destinations and more.

For this months ASEAN Connect, we experience Malaysian

homestay-style tourism in Kampung Beng Village. Located on the

Perak River, the river acts as a natural border between Malaysia

and Thailand and stretches over 1,000 kilometers. We also visit

the elegant Krue Se Mosque in Pattani for a photo session.

Exploring is not always about going a new destination. We get

a chance to dive into the daily life of the fishermen of Mekong

River. The Mekong is a lifeline that passes through four countries,

feeding thousands of people who live along its shores. These

fishermen not only feed from it, they depend on the river for their

    livelihood.

Please sit back and enjoy this issue. Next month, we take you

to the south into Champasak. There are many unseen villages

elephant riding, majestic waterfalls and more.

Thank you for exploring with us!
