Saab Sensis Corporation brings together decades of advanced radar, sensor and related expertise to meet the changing needs of the global defense, homeland security and civil aviation markets. The company, incorporated in the U.S. with its headquarters in Syracuse, NY, provides extensive engineering, manufacturing and lifecycle support services to many of the world’s top militaries, civil aviation authorities and related organizations. Customers now have the benefit of a wider array of product and solution offerings backed by dedicated, worldwide support and logistics resources. This is an acquisition built on familiarity and significant achievements; Saab and Sensis first partnered in 2008 when Sensis became the sales and support agent for Saab radar products in the U.S. More recently, the partnership was successful in winning a contract to supply the U.S. Navy Littoral Combat Ship Program with the Saab Sea GIRAFFE Radar, with Sensis responsible for adapting and integrating the internationally- proven radar for U.S. deployment.
