Center City Residents’ Association, the Preservation Alliance and twelveRittenhouse area houses of worship present a holiday season Sacred SpacesOpen House on Sunday, December 16, 2012, from 1 to 4 pm.

For local residents, this tour (self guided by smart phone app or hand heldmap) showcases the world-class interiors of buildings they walk past daily.For out of towners, the tour provides an amenity usu-ally only found on the continent where even the mosthumble houses of worship welcome tourists daily.Congregants at all twelve sites are available to talkabout the current activities of these historic institu-tions. This easy afternoon stroll should serve as a wel-come respite to the holiday season’s hustle andbustle.
