CHALLENGES/2M2 was approached by Global Index International to design their new corporate identity and to restructure and redesign their trilingual website. With a worldwide client base from over 70 countries, the challenge was to create a site structure catering to two very distinct user groups, Corporate & Business and Individuals & Families, as well as present up-to-the-minute stock market indexes and financial news.

CHALLENGEMajor Brazilian soy distributor called upon S/2M2 to design an institutional presentation, in both low resolution for efficient virtual transmission as well as high resolution for quality print output, for a select group of foreign investors. The challenge was to create a layout to incorporate texts and images together with over 80 complex maps, charts and graphs.

SOLUTIONUsing a rich, distinct color-coded motif throughout the presentation and shapes reflective of the company’s corporate identity, S/2M2 designed a bold Keynote presentation that clearly conveys to a select audience the Client’s message and objective while subtlely bolstering brand recognition.

CLIENT BACKGROUNDFounded in 2001, Thalamus is a Non Profit Organization based on the desire to help formalize the mechanisms for action in some of the less fortunate communities in Rio de Janeiro.

CHALLENGEThe brief was to design and develop a new Thalamus website to transmit the NPO’s updated mission: to turn their attention back to interpersonal relationships. The challenge was to create a format that would showcase over a decade of activities and projects while reflecting a new attitude and great change, all within a limited budget.

SOLUTIONBy using a series of eight bold up-close-and-personal images that continuously change throughout the user experience and beefing up the site’s features and functionality, S/2M2 created an intuitive yet straight-forward website with a distinct NPO personality. S/2M2’s customized CMS has provided Thalamus with user-friendly in-house Content Management capabilities and improved Search Engine Optimization.

With over 30 member firms in 23 countries around the globe, the challenge was to create a global website and intranet that is both informative and flexible.

CHALLENGEThe Rockaway Valley Regional Sewerage Authority looked to S/2M2 to design and develop their first online presence. The challenge was to create an intuitive corporate website, with strong focus on preservation messaging, user-friendly navigation, and information access and transparency.

SOLUTIONThe result is an invitingly colorful site that clearly conveys RVRSA’s commitment to the environment while enabling the community, as well as professionals active in the sector, to learn more about RVRSA plant operations, special projects, and business activities. CHALLENGEThe objective of the Intelligent Futures Trading website is to promote sales for two of the publishing house’s best-sellers: Trading Day by Day and Intelligent Futures Trading. S/2M2’s task was to revitalize Intelligent Futures Trading’s previous online presence by developing a new site that would captivate and intrigue potential buyers, thus stimulate sales. The challenge was to create an objective, user-friendly online presence without the use of additional images or photographs.

SOLUTIONS/2M2 created a bold interface that bolsters immediate product recognition while allowing prospective buyers to quickly access pertinent information, such as book reviews, purchasing and contact details. Features include market commentaries by the author, an RSS feed and a MODx Content Management System.
