Dear Friends,

I have some exciting news! Thanks to a grant from the Catholic Foundation, our cluster was able to purchase a subscription to FORMED.org. FORMED is an online service that will give us access to thousands of Catholic videos, audios and e-books. And the good news is that every single parishioner will get access to FORMED by signing up for their own free account! This means that you will all be able to listen to Lighthouse talks through your smart phone or computer whenever you want! (You won't have to stop by the parish to pick up a CD.) You will also have access to Catholic saint movies, teen programming, documentaries, and bible studies. I guess you could say FORMED is a Catholic version of “Netflix.”

I’m most excited to give you all access to Catholic formation in your homes. I use FORMED the most when I am doing dishes or scrubbing my floor. Listening to a good talk makes my chores pass by more quickly!

Watch the bulletin in the weeks ahead for further instructions on how to use this website and content recommendations. We will also be offering trainings for parishioners who would like assistance navigating the FORMED website.

You will be seeing a lot of me as I make my way to Faith Formation and Confirmation parent nights to teach our families how to use this wonderful website.

For those of you who don’t want to wait for further information, you can create an account today. Go to tworiverscatholic.formed.org to sign up. Remember, because the parish paid for this subscription, this is free of charge, so you will not have to enter any payment information.

This fall, our parish cluster will offer a three-week study and discussion on the Eucharist. This study, called Presence: The Mystery of the Eucharist, explores the truth and beauty of Christ’s real presence in the Eucharist, from its origins in Sacred Scripture, to its profound role in the life of the Church and her members. The study will be offered on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in the basement of All Saints-St. Mary’s. The Tuesday sessions will begin on September 11th and the Thursday sessions will begin on September 13th. Call or email Kristin Molitor at the central office to Register. (320) 228-0105 [email protected]

My prayer is that through this tool, we will all come to know the love of Jesus more deeply and become better disciples of Him.

In Christ, Kristin Molitor

PS. If you do not have access to the internet, don’t worry! You will still have access to Catholic formation through our Lighthouse Media Kiosks.
