Weekly News
Please make sure to watch the Move On When Reading Video and look over the Move On When Reading Infor-mation attached to this newsletter. It is important you understand the law these third grade student might be held to this year. If you have any questions about the law please do let me know.
Thank you to all the parent s that made the time to conference with me and look over your students data. I have never felt as connected to a whole class of parents. I got to speak with all but three families. I will hopefully get to speak with them this week.
It is so important the student stay on schedule and on task. You are not alone. Many of the students are not doing a great job of staying focused and really learning. Motivation, consequences and peer modeling are the tools I would be using in the classroom to help students practice. I can already see the students have not put enough practice into handwriting this year. Please let me know if there is any way I can help you and your student be more successful at home. I am here for you.
Please do not hesitate to contact me your preferred way. [email protected] 520-314-7647 Please text first
Synchronous Learning vs. Asynchronous Learning
Synchronous Learning: Live (real-time) learning sessions.
Asynchronous Learning: Self Paced, Differentiated sessions you take on your own that have been pre-recorded so that you can complete at a convenient time and at your own pace.
Online Learning Recomendations
Supplies: pencils, sharpener, paper (lined, unlined), glue, scissors, crayons, head-phones with a mic, white board
Environment: little to no distractions, a quiet space, at a table not bed, well light, consistent location build good habits and allows structure, near an outlet
Expectations:
Here are the agreed upon norms our class developed to help us enjoy
and learn during our synchronous learning time.
