Radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor operation and servicing guide

Insert batteries to connect the radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor to the internet.

Set-up

1 Twist counter clockwise to open the upper casing of the radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor.

2 Remove the cover of the sensor.

3 Insert batteries.

Reposition the cover and twist to close the casing of the radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor.

Connection to the MultiSafe Leak Detector Control Valve

If the MultiSafe Leak Detector Control Valve has been installed and registered, it can be connected to the radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor. Once both devices are interconnected, the radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor notifies leaks to the MultiSafe Leak Detector Control Valve, which will immediately shut off the system.

The connection has to be activated by the MultiSafe Leak Detector Control Valve, which acts as the master.

Establishing a Wi-Fi connection

The radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor has an access point that creates its own domestic Wi-Fi network. The Reliance Valves App joins this network. Once the connection has been established, you may connect your MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor to the wireless network of your choice.

1 Activate the access point of the MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor. To do so, open the device and press the button in the middle.

Once connected, the Reliance Valves App wants to join the MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor Wi-Fi Network. Press Join. Then assign the desired wireless network to the MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor by selecting it from the list.

Enter the password of the selected home wireless LAN and press OK and Save. A corresponding confirmation is displayed.

Go back to the list of devices in your project. A green dot will indicate that the MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor is connected to your Wi-Fi Network.

Please make sure that you are close to the device so that a connection can be established. If the system fails to connect, check whether the access point mode of the MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor is on (the access point switches off after 3 minutes).

Radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor: the smart sensor with rapid alert function

The MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor is used in critical places that require intensive monitoring. If this smart sensor detects water on the floor, room temperatures that are too low or excessive levels of humidity, an LED will flash and a loud warning signal will be given.

If the radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor is connected to the MultiSafe Leak Detector Control Valve, the MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor will notify the leak to the MultiSafe Leak Detector Control Valve, which will immediately shut off the system. The radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor is controllable via the Reliance Valves App.

Registration and Set-up

Installation of the Reliance Valves App

The radio-controlled MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor is controllable via the Reliance Valves App. To install the Reliance Valves App, select option 1 or 2 (iPhone).

1 Download the Reliance Valves App from the applicable App Store for free and install it on your smartphone or tablet.

2 Scan this QR code (iPhone).

Registration of the MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor

First register the device to control the MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor with the Reliance Valves App.

Open the Reliance Valves App and click on the button on the bottom left of your start screen. Then click on User registration/new device of the Login form.

1 There are two options to register a new device: Click on the symbol of the QR code scanner and scan the product-specific code. Or enter the code number below it and click on New device. You can find the QR code and the code number on the bottom of the MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor.

Set a project name, enter your user data and confirm your information.

Choose a user name and a password of at least eight characters.

Read the privacy terms and accept them. Click on Register.

As an alternative, your MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor may be controlled via your web browser.

Please note that remote access to your MultiSafe Floor Leak Sensor via the internet is only possible if there is an active internet connection.
