Roxhill/SEGRO entered into discussions with
H&M shortly after acquiring the site and let the
site infrastructure contract in October 2014. H&M
was under a tight timetable and Roxhill / SEGRO
worked quickly with them to agree a layout and
submit for planning, which was granted within 6
weeks. Construction commenced in March 2014 and
Practical Completion was granted four weeks early
in November 2014.
A spokesperson from H&M, said: “After
an extensive search for a new facility
in the M6 corridor, we identified Rugby
Gateway as a preferred location for a new national
distribution centre. Its proximity to the M6 is still
unrivalled. The development team at Roxhill and
SEGRO quickly understood our requirements
and were able to deliver a new facility ahead of
programme. Roxhill / SEGRO were very professional
to deal with throughout the project.”

Rugby Gateway is located immediately adjacent to Junction 1 of the M6 motorway.
The location provides direct access to the national motorway network with the
