In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the international leader in sports eyewear has produced a limited edition boxed set. Only 1985 pieces have been made to remember the year Rudy Project was first founded. This ori-ginal set includes three special elements: limited edition sunglasses, an exclusive watch and a limited Rudy Project publication.

The sunglasses have put a modern twist on Prestige, the first frames with the Rudy Project brand that were designed and produced back in 1985. These are the sunglasses that gave Rudy Barbazza, the founder of the Rudy Project, the intu-ition of the great potential of the sports eyewear market, which have led him to great success. An extraordinary aviator model, 1980s fashion icon, this time created with the latest generation of materials such as Kynetium, an ultra light aerospace alloy, giving both elasticity and resistance and guaranteeing excel-lent technical performance.

The Steelium watch has a sporty design, yet it is equally suitable for any occasion. The stainless steel case and bezel can handle all weather conditions, while the Japanese mechanism guarantees maximum reliability when timing new records. A 2-dial chronograph with date display at six o’clock, Steelium unites technical performance, a sporty soul and attetion to detail in one single instrument, true to the Rudy Project style and standard.

And, last but not least, the unpublished book “RUDY PROJECT, THE PROJECT OF A MAN, THE COMMITMENT OF A FAMILY, A WORLDWIDE REALITY” completes the set. GOLF 100™Golf 100™ lenses provide a unique balance of target and background brightness. The transmission of 25% was tailored to ac-comodate for grass reflecting only a low amount on incident light. While controlling low level blue light, the middle range is selectively manipulated to provide optimum visual stimulation and distinctive “object illumination”.

TRANSPARENT

Lenses that transmit 92% of the light. Designed for protection of the eyes from dust or other foreign bodies during sports activities. Excel-lent protection for the eyes in very cold climates.

SMOKE This type of lens, offered in a variety of shades, transmits only 22% of the light and is ideal for moderately sunny days or winter days.

HI-ALTITUDE™

The HI-Altitude™is engineered to protect from high illumination and transmits only 5,5% of light. Perfect for mountain activities, glacier and high altitude conditions, this special lens is tailored with triple layers anti-reflective back coating and proprietary front mirror coating. For its exceptional light transmission level, this lens is not suitable for dri-ving. (CAT4).

POLARIZED LENSES effectively block reflected glare, a situation which occurs primarily near water or snow or off reflective surfaces nearby, such as car windows, metallic objects, etc. Light which strikes a horizontal reflective surface is reflected back into your eyes. You then get a “double dose” of light energy, some of which falls directly on to you and some that is reflected on to you. Polarized lenses offer an interesting advantage: because they dramatically reduce or eliminate the reflected light energy which might account for the majority of the annoying glare, you can use a lighter tint to achieve the same (or better) degree of glare reduction and comfort compared to non-polarized dark lenses.
