Serial number breaks are indicated as follows:

• (SN 999 and before) - indicates serial numbers up to and including 999.

• (SN 1000 - 2000) - indicates serial numbers from 1000 to 2000.

• (SN 999 and up) - indicates serial numbers including 999 and after.

NOTE: When ordering parts, be sure to identify the lastfive digits of the machine's serial number.

GENERAL INFORMATIONDecal location information is provided to assist inthe proper selection and application of new decals,in the event the original decals become damaged orthe machine is repainted.

For correct replacement of decals, compare thelocation illustrations (e.g., drawings, photographs)to the machine before starting to refinish the unit.Check off each required decal using the illustrationreference number to find the part number, descrip-tion and quantity in the list. Refer to the appropriateillustration for replacement location.

If there is a decal on a part that is to be replaced,be sure that a new decal is applied to the replace-ment part.

NOTE: Refer to the SAFETY chapter of theOperator’s Manual for specific information pro-vided on the various safety decals.

NOTE: The following pages in the decal sec-tion include decals for EU machines—many ofwhich are shown beside the standard decals;when ordering decals, be sure to order the cor-rect decals that are applicable to yourmachine.

CAUTIONALWAYS read and follow the safety precau-tions and information shown on decals. Ifany decal is damaged or unreadable, or ifthe unit is repainted, the decals must bereplaced. If repainting, BE SURE that alldecals that apply to your machine areaffixed in their proper locations.

NEW DECAL APPLICATIONBefore applying the new decals, surfaces must befree from dirt, dust, grease and other foreign mate-rial. To apply a solid-formed decal, remove thesmaller portion of the decal backing paper and applythis part of the exposed adhesive backing to theclean surface while maintaining proper position andalignment. Slowly peel off the other portion of thebacking paper while applying hand pressure tosmooth out decal surface. To apply a pre-maskdecal, first remove the backing paper to expose theadhesive side of the decal. Then, properly orientand position the decal onto the clean mounting sur-face. After the decal is firmly applied and smoothlypressed down, peel off the top covering paper.
