MANUFACTURING

For the purpose of processing and world class finishing we are equipped with

Pacific Auto Jigger, Jet Dyeing, Jumbo Scouring, Drying Range, Stenter, K/D, Contifit, Sanforising, Calender, Singeing, Airo Finish, Sizing, Cone dyeing machine.

In order to impart the high levels of service adherence and to achieve unparalleled product quality we have equipped our processing plants with state of the art technology. For weaving we have 154 looms of Sulzer 190, Sulzer 220, Toyoda, Picanol and Dornier.

Know about Electrical System Improve power factor (P.F.) by installing capacitors to

reduce KVA demand charges & also line losses within plant.

Improvement of P.F. from 0.85 to 0.99 will give 11.5% reduction of peak KVA & 21.6% reduction in peak losses.

Use of electronic ballast saves 15-20 % electric energy

Use of sodium vapor lamp in place of mercury vapor

lamp gives saving around 25%. Application of transparency sheet saves “day” light

energy.

Know About Compressed Air System

Compressed air is an expensive utility; only 5% of electrical energy is converted to useful energy.

Ensure low temp. at compressor Inlet , increase of inlet temp

by 1 degree Celsius increases power consumption by 3%. Check compressor performance regularly by comparing air

output/electrical input.

It is very important to check the leakages in line of compressed air system.

• Know About Boilers

Increase combustion efficiency of boilers.

Heat recovery from blow down water of boilers.

Preheating boiler feed water to 95oC -105

oC

Better condensate recovery.

Application of proper design steam traps.

Rationalization of Steam distribution.

Know About Pumps Ensure proper selection of pump, wrong selection of

pump leads to wastage of energy. Know Pump performance by installing Flow Meters,

Pressure Gauge & Ammeter etc. Avoid throttling of pumps by installing variable speed

drive.

Know About Electric Motor

Around 75% electrical consumption in industry is due to motor.

Heat is major cause of motor failure. Repeated rewinding of motors has a practical efficiency

loss of 5%. Balanced voltages can save 3 to 5% of electric energy.

Saving Potential in Textiles

In textile Energy conservation potential is around 25%. 25% of Energy conservation activities requires very less Investment. 60% of Energy conservation activities requires Moderate investment. And only 15% requires high investment and management approval like replacement of old machineries, Technology enhancement etc.

ENERGY CONSERVATION WORK DONE

• We replaced the All three Stenter machine by new due to adopted new technology and saved the power almost 1000 kwh per day and also increased the production .

• By replace the 10 No’s energy efficient pumps in place of traditional type monoblock pump in process plant we saved almost 500 kwh per day.

• By using the Heat exchanger at F.D fan of Thermopac ( 20 lac k cal per hour) in inlet air , and install the effimex forbes marshall make , saved the thermal energy approx 300 kg pet coke per day and reduce the frequency of APH cleaning 3 month in place of 1 month.

ENERGY CONSERVATION PLAN FOR FUTURE

• To reduce the specific energy consumption we have plan to change the centrifugal type air compressor in place of old screw compressor . It will save the power consumption as well as thermal energy by using waste heat recovery system .

• There is plan to change the old rewinded motors by the energy efficient motors.

• Our next plan to change High pressure pumps in all R.O.Stages by the energy efficient pumps .

• Our plan to apply the solar energy plant for Plant lighting and Hot water recovery system for process plant.
