Jen Sanders is off to the Olympics!

It was less than 2 years ago that keen squash player Jennifer Sanders set up her Events Business ‘Sanders Events’. In no time her services were in great demand! However, as hectic as her new lifestyle has become she never dreamed of being chosen to manage corporate functions for an international company

at Olympic Park, London. She is relishing the opportunity to enhance her business and this Friday she’ll be winging her way to the UK for 7 weeks.

Jen’s family have been members of Remuera for over 14 years. Both Mum and Dad, Margie and George are active in sports. They play

Masters Squash, while Margie is also a competitive hockey player. George is

committed to his fitness and has had success in ‘stroke & stride’

Right: Jen’s event manager Sara who is going to London with her is pictured with Prime Minister John Key at one of their more recent

functions.

Jen’s talent does not end with corporate functions at the Vector Arena where she is often based. She

also specializes in weddings and is well sought-after in that field.

Why not check out her websites:

Of course amidst the hard work there are the perks!! What better than to have a photo with Richie McCaw and the Rugby

World Cup!

ALL THE BEST JEN—We look forward to hearing about your experience on your return.

The group meet at the Club most weeks but last Wednesday was a special night. They gathered to celebrate the forthcoming birth of twins to Alex & Shelley Peterson.

What’s ‘DIY Liz’ up to NOW!

A woman of action is our office administrator Liz

Houghton-Brown

During the school holidays she had squash junior Sam Dennis helping her put smoke alarms around the club.

Sam didn’t seem to mind. He came down for a practise hit in readiness for the C Grade Elimina-

tions this week but found himself otherwise engaged!

The Wills family have been members for many years (from the late 70s)

And during those years all the family, Rob, Jo, Nicola, Julia and Jonathon have all played tennis, squash, been active members of the gym - Rob still is - and more recently Jo is

loving Pilates.

Last month was the first family wedding when daughter Nicola married her partner Jeremy.
