    RRB CBT 2016 Test / Exam Pattern and SyllabusRRB CBT (Computer Based Test) shall be Objective Multiple Choice type. The question paper will be in English, Hindi, Urdu and Local Languages.

    Test Duration is 90 Minutes and 100 multiple choice questions. Each Questions carries 1.5 Marks.

    There is negative Marks for incorrect Answer. Each incorrect answer attracts 1/3of marks allotted to that question.

    CBT Computer Based Test is common for All Categories of posts.

    for Commercial Apprentice CA, Traffic Apprentice TA, ECRC and Goods Guards - Stage 1 i.e. CBT and Documents Verification.

    for JAA, Sr. Clerk, Sr.Time Keeper - CBT , Typing skill Test and Verification ofDocumetns.

    for ASM, Traffic Assistant TA - CBT, Aptitude Test followed by Documents Verification(need to bring Vision certificate from an eye specialist for Aptitude Test)

    The merit in CBT only considered for calling for Typing Test / Aptitude Test / Document Verification.

    Exemption in Typing Test may extended to PWD (PH candidates)

    CBT Questions include 1) General Awareness 2) Arithmetic 3) General Intelligence 4) Reasoning.

    General Awareness (20 Questions) Questions pertained to Current Affairs, Financeand Economic, Budget related updates, Sports, honors, science abbreviations, days of National and international important events and days etc.

    Arithmetic Ability (25 Questions) : Questions include HCF/LCM, Simplification, decimal, fractions, Ratio analysis, Proportions, Unitary methods, Percentage, Time and Distance, time and work, profit & Loss, Simple and Compound interest, Mensuration(2D 3D) and Data interpretation with graphs or table.

    General Intelligence(30 Questions) :Questions belongs to test candidatesMentalAbility, IQ , Presence of Mind and Analytical Ability.

    Reasoning (25 Questions): Questions incude Verbal and Non verbal; Verbal questions are number series, Alphabet, test of direction sense,Coding-decoding, numberranking, arithmetical reasoning, age calculations, blood relations, analogy etc.Non-Verbal questions are Non-verbal-series, mirror images, cubes & dice, grouping identical figure
