GRID 180-5 - P-5 - TIMMINS PROJECT
INTRODUCTION
During the winter of 1984, an exploration programme consisting of linecutting, and electromagnetic and magnetic surveys was conducted over the following claims in Little (M-535) and Mann (M-541) Twps:

One EM anomaly was identified, but additional surveys are necessary to determine whether the conductive material is in the overburden or in the bedrock.
LOCATION AND ACCESS
The property centres around the junction of 4 townships, however, the survey was conducted in claims in only two of these townships, namely Little and Mann.
A Forest Management Road linking up with the ice Chisel Lake Road and eventually Hwy. 610, passes through the property. On the claims, this road follows a low lying area and is generally not passable by truck during the summer.

PROPERTY OWNERSHIIP
The claims are held by BP Resources Canada Ltd. Licence No. T190.
PRESENTATION OF RESULTS
The results of the electromagnetic and magnetic surveys are plotted on separate plans at a scale of 1:2500. TI.3752, 3752BU&2).
PREVIOUS WORK
Although the area has been staked several times in the past, there is no record of any work having been filed for assessment credit. (Timmins Data Series Maps P-728, P-728 rev., P-755, P755 rev., P-2308).
GENERAL GEOLOGY
The property lies within the Timmins portion of the Abitibi Volcanic - Plutonic Belt. Although outcrops are generally very rare in the area, one cluster of outcrops is shown at the junction of the 4 townships - Tully, Little, Duff and Mann. These outcrops indicated on map P-728 have been identified as andesite-basalt flows. On the grid, these outcrops would occur somewhere near LlOOmE, 200mS, about 400m south of the EM anomaly.
O.G.S. maps 2484 and 2205 are the best available compilations of the regional geology.

GEOPHYSICAL SURVEY RESULTS
Horizontal Loop Electromagnetic Survey
An Apex Max-Min II horizontal loop unit with a 250 metre coil separation and frequencies of 1777 Hz and 444 Hz was used to survey the grid. Data was recorded as the in-phase and out of phase percentage of the primary field, and plotted as a graph at a scale of 1mm = l*.
Magnetic Survey
The instruments used were a Geometrics G-816 total field proton precession magnetometer and a Geometrics G-826A recording base station magnetometer. The data was reduced for diurnal variations using the analogue output of the base station recorder coupled with "check-in" stations established on the grid. The data was plotted at 1:2500 and contoured by Dataplotting Services Ltd. of Toronto.
General
Both EM and magnetometer readings were taken at 25 metre intervals on lines spaced 100 metres apart. When anomalous conditions occurred, station spacing was reduced to 12.5 metres.
DISCUSSION OF RESULTS
The EM survey results indicate a single anomaly extending from LlOOmE to LSOOmE, at approximately 200mN. For most of its length, this anomaly follows the north margin of a low, swampy area flanking a creek.
![Page 6: RPT ON GRID 180-5 - PROP 5 - TIMMINS PROP · 2017-01-17 · 9) TIMMINS - P5 The Minir 42A14SE*3e9 2.7526 MANN 900 Type of Survey(s) Geophysical AJ j() Township or Area M541 Claim](https://reader033.fdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022050601/5fa87c2e883a1812ec319fb0/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)

The high negative out of phase readings and the poor in-phase to out of phase ratios in the area of the conductor axis suggest that the conductive source is in the overburden rather than in the bedrock.
The magnetic survey results show almost no variation in the magnetic susceptibility of the underlying rocks. Except for a slight increase of almost lOOnT on the most eastern 4 lines, most of the readings fall within a range of 60nT.
REOWMENDftTIONS
(1) The area of the Max-Min II anomaly should be surveyed with Pulse EM unit to determine whether the Max-Min II ancmal has a conductive source in the overburden or in the

Notice of Intent
for Technical Reports
1984 12 17
2.7526/481/84
An examination of your survey report indicates that the requirements of The Ontario Mining Act have not been fully met to warrant maximum assessment work credits. This notice is merely a warning that you will not be allowed the number of assessment work days credits that you expected and also that in approximately 15 days from the above date, the mining recorder will be authorized to change the entries on his record sheets to agree with the enclosed statement. Please note that until such time as the recorder actually changes the entry on the record sheet, the status of the claim remains unchanged.
If you are of the opinion that these changes by the mining recorder will jeopardize your claims, you may during the next fifteen days apply to the Mining and Lands Commissioner for an extension of time. Abstracts should be sent with your application.
If the reduced rate of credits does not jeopardize the status of the claims then you need not seek relief from the Mining and Lands Commissioner and this Notice of Intent may be disregarded.
If your survey was submitted and assessed under the "Special Provision-Performance and Coverage" method and you are of the opinion that a re-appraisal under the "Man-days" method would result in the approval of a greater number of days credit per claim, you may, within the said fifteen day period, submit assessment work breakdowns listing the employees names, addresses and the dates and hours they worked. The new work breakdowns should be submitted direct to the Land Management Branch, Toronto. The report will be re-assessed and a new statement of credits based on actual days worked will be issued.
