CONCL USIONS: The drill program performed has provided enough information to warrant Nortem Mining to execute an application for a Aggregate Permit. The results of the core cross sections show a lower grade ore then we had hoped for but still believed to be marketable. It is believed that this material can be used in the Smelter Process at Falconbridge Kidd Creek Operation located about 23klms from this deposit.

Bruce: Further to our phone conversation regarding the REVISIONS requested by your office Nortem Mining has called once again called upon the help of it's solicitor Mr. John Huot. Mr. Huot is attempting to extract the missing Drill Logs from Mr. B.J. McKay of B. J.McKay Ltd.,the geologist who prepared them on Nortems behalf. Mr. Huot has contacted Mr. Dan Pascal regarding this matter.

However I personally can provide most of the additional information you are requesting regarding the REVISIONS stated in your letter dated June 04/02.1 also believe some of the requested information can be found in my previously submitted material.

I am hopeful that this new information provided in duplicate along with the original information previously submitted will allow my assessment claim to be processed without a dollar reduction.

REVISION Notice

(i) Indicate the thickness of overburden ( zero to six inches throughout)

(j) Adequately describe all geological units encountered (cannot provide this)

(k) Indicate the total depth of penetration of the hole in bedrock ( all holes where drilled in bedrock)( see paperwork)

At the discretion of the Ministry, the assessment work performed on the mining lands noted in this work report may be subject to inspection and/or investigation at any time.

The 45 days outlined in the Notice dated June 4, 2002 have passed.

The diamond drill logs have been provided. Typically little to no assessment credit is allowed for a drilling submission that does not include the logs. In this instance, as the property is an industrial mineral prospect, the sections showing assay results have provided some information of value to the provincialdatabase.

We have allowed 3007o assessment credit based on the sections and plans provided. The section for Hole CV-1 does not cover the hole below 75m and that portion has been removed from the total costs. The TOTAL VALUE of assessment credit that will be allowed, based on the information provided in this submission, is 38,190 (330,681 - 33,382 x 3007o). The un-credited portion of the cost may be claimed, along with the analyses cost, if a complete submission that meets the requirement of the Assessment Work Regulation is re-filed.

Allowable changes to your credit distribution can be made by contacting the Geoscience Assessment Office by August 29, 2002 otherwise assessment credit will be cut-back and distributed as outlined in Section #6 of the Declaration of Assessment Work form.
