Features• Totally enclosed, weatherproof housing

in nodular cast iron for maximumstrength and suitable for use in hostileenvironments

• A vent valve on the bottom housingflange is provided to avoid accidentalpressurisation

• A cast steel version is available onrequest

• A compact rack and pinion designprovides simple construction

• External travel stops for precise angularstroke adjustment between 80°and 100°

• The double acting actuator is with 2hydraulic cylinders mounted at eachside of the housing

• Mounting of two different cylindersmakes it possible to obtain differentoutput torques in the opening andclosing directions

• The single acting spring return actuatoris with one cylinder mounted at oneside of the housing and the springcartridge mounted at the other side,depending on spring action (to close orto open)

• The spring cartridge execution is fullyenclosed, tamperproof for fullpersonnel safety

• Two mechanical stoppers are availablefor external stroke adjustment between80° and 100° rotation

• Bushings are made of sintered bronze,charged with teflon to provide minimalfriction and extended service life

• Electroless nickel plated and polishedcylinder for corrosion resistance andminimal friction

• The piston seals are made by a teflonU-ring with special elastomer, centeredinto its sealing face and charged byunderlying O-ring. This solution assureslong service life, preventing stickingproblems

• Mounting brackets for limit switchboxes with electric limit switches orposition transmitters

• Threaded holes for mounting ofhydraulic accumulator and hydrauliccontrol manifold

• Hydraulic control groups for On-Offoperation or step-by-step controlservice with solenoid valves, inweatherproof or explosionproofexecution

• Hydraulic control groups formodulating service, according tovarious specifications, withproportional control valve or servovalve

• Electric control panels in weatherproofor explosionproof enclosure
