When you have suffered in an accident that wasn’t your fault,it’s only right that you should be compensated for your injuries, loss of earnings or long term care needs. An accident is notalways a short term event and the after effects can continuemuch longer than you may think.

There are many accident claim firms who advertise heavily ontelevision, the internet and elsewhere. Sometimes these firmsjust seem to be in it for the money and to be honest they havegiven the industry a very bad name, but Roythornes is different.

Our services• Road accidents• Accidents at work• Public liability claims (including trips and slips)• Disease claims• Clinical and medical negligence• Military and MoD cases• Injuries suffered outside the UK - whilst on holidayor working abroad

to our serviceHow we havehelped othersCase study 1Mrs C was feeling unwell and was taken to hospital by herhusband. He used one of the wheelchairs provided by thehospital but unfortunately the wheelchair was faulty and hiswife fell out and broke her arm. She was devastated as shewas due to go on an activity holiday the following week withher family but had to cancel. Not only did we claim back thecost of the holiday, we also managed to secure sufficientcompensation for her injuries part of which she used to takeher family on a holiday of a lifetime to Disney World in Florida.

Case study 2We acted for 16 paratroopers, all of whom had been injuredwhilst taking part in a parachute descent in Sardinia. We leda group action against the MoD and secured judgment forour clients on the basis of the negligence of the MoD.

Having established liability of the group, we then negotiatedindividual settlements at figures varying from £50,000 forthe less seriously injured, to in excess of £300,000 for themost seriously injured.

Case study 3We acted for a child claimant who suffered from cerebralpalsy as a result of medical negligence by their local GP.The £2.25m settlement that was awarded to the client hasenabled the client to lead a better quality of life.

Case study 4Miss T suffered a whiplash type injury as a result ofa road traffic accident which occurred on 30 January 2011.The claim was settled and payment was sent to the clienton 9 June 2011 in respect of compensation for her accidentinjuries and loss of earnings in the total sum of £2,604.09.Therefore, it took little over four months from notificationto completion.
