WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE
Manager:The General Manager’s tasks mostly handles with decision making and implementing policies, reviewing employees’ performances and making appraisals for employees’ bonuses. However, the GM will also be handling projects as an project coordinator as well.
Assistant Manager The Assistant Manager is expected to assist the General Manager in whatever task and affairs during the absence of the General Manager. She will also be responsible in keeping track of employees’ performances.
Marketing Manager & Research and Development They will be responsible plans in order to help develop the business. They will also have to come up with market researches in case there is a need to revise the prices for our packages or types of promotion in order to attract more potential customers. Another responsibility is to call up the customers we have dealt with to explain the total cost of the projects, number of attendees, and information concerning the billing.
Finance Manager & Accountant Their responsibility is to ensure correct financial transactions within the business with regards to projects being organized. They will be responsible to prepare a budget report for the business and to draw up a financial report. Creating invoices will also be another responsibility of the Accountant.
Admin Officer & Design Document They will be responsible in recruiting staff required for the business in order to carry out the projects. She will also be monitoring staff’s attendance record and performance and will be reporting to the General Manager. Another task is to keep track of records of customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.
Operational manager & Project managerImprove the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning. Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions. Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence. Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.

Since our project is huge, we make sure that it is in the same line with the
rules and regulation set up by the government
We also make sure that we preserve our culture and heritage in our
company
Such discipline will be seen as a stepping stone to success
Preserving Our Heritage and Culture
• Our project would sustain/preserve Brunei heritage or culture by the following rules and regulations made by the government.
• For example, any work or construction should not going to work during Friday prayer from 12 to 2 pm.
• Our company could hire local workers to involve in the project so that the culture of Brunei will be followed by other workers.
• The building can be built based on the cultural heritage of our country, amusement park that has limit according to the culture and religious of our country.
Our project follows regulation regarding the labour application license whereas Application must first be made to the Labour Department for a labour license especially for non-Brunei Darussalam citizens
Since our project needs a lot of workers, we have to hire from other countries. In doing so, we have to apply the labour license
In Labor law compliance, it is a form of regulation which protect employees’ wages, working conditions, benefits, and other rights
Health and safety of employees is another common factor in labor law compliance regulations
Such prove that stated in the article mentioning that there was a roadshow in Temburong District regarding the labour law in Brunei. The Department of Labour is organizing an awareness programme (roadshow) on labour laws and regulations as part of the department's annual activities
