PAL announces new domestic routes,additional frequency

China Eastern, Juneyao to fly CEB-PVG

Philippine Airlines is further expanding its domestic network in Cebu, with (4) new routes startingDec 1, 2017 utilizing Q400 aircraft:

China Eastern Airlines (MU) will commence operations of Cebu – Shanghai (PVG) daily service onOct 18, 2017. The flight will leave Shanghai at 0010H arriving 0410H in Cebu, with its turnaround flight leaving at 0510H and arriving 0850H in Shanghai. The flight will operate until Oct 28, 2017, and will resume on January 18, 2018 with the same schedule.

Meanwhile, Juneyao Airlines (HO) will operate Cebu – Shanghai from Oct 29, 2017 daily excluding Sunday. The flight will leave Shanghai at 2130H arriving 0130H in Cebu with 1 hour ground time, arriving back in Shanghai at 0630H.

GMR Airports Limited (GAL) and GMR Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation (GMCAC) team up as airport sponsors of this year’s Global Airport Development Conference. The event will be hosted at the Mactan Shangri-la Resort on Sep 19-21. As the only airport privatization event in Asia, participants have the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, and gain insights on airport development best practices and other relevant topics.

Other key destinations will also have additional frequency as follows:

WHAT TO DO: CHASE WATERFALLS!Dau Falls – getting here requires a 30-minute trek passing through beautiful gorges and riverbeds. The water here drops from an est. height of 100 ft. Aguinid Falls – a 5-tiered waterfall which you can climb up to its highest level (water source). The lower cascades are shallow pools and perfect for a massage!Binalayan Hidden Falls – a 10-minute ride from Aguinid, plus a 15-minute hike to get to the cascade. It features a unique triple drop.
