February 2020
February is a special month for the Route 66 Corvette Club. Twenty years ago, a small group of Corvette enthusiasts formed a new club for the purpose of enjoying and sharing the experience of owning the Chevrolet Corvette. We are now celebrating the twentieth anniversary of our wonderful club thanks to our Charter Members.
During the past twenty years our club has grown to over 130 members, began an all Corvette car show that provides well-needed funds to the USO and hosts to a NCCC autocross that is highly respected and rated.
In addition, our club banner and web page have won awards for their designs and excellence thanks to Joe Anelle and others.
Our club has a diverse group of Corvette owners who enjoy car shows, supporting community activities, auto runs and the opportunity to share their passion with other members.
During the year, our club, with the help and guidance of the Social Committee, will plan additional venues so we can continue celebrating our 20th anniversary which will include a special party. It is my hope that our membership family will take the time this year to participate in as many of our club activities as possible. Without all of you there would not be a Route 66 Corvette Club.
Happy Anniversary
“We Love our Cars, but Stay for the People!”
