New Dates and Fees REGISTRATION New Dates and Fees REGISTRATION Before November 30, 2019: Early Bird Registration $550

After December 1, 2019: Regular Registration $575

Club Sponsorship Form and Payment Deadline: January 1, 2020. No Club Sponsorship Forms will be accepted this date. All payments must be in by this date.

All clubs will have an initial opportunity to send 2 campers. Clubs that have always sent 4: If your club was previously approved for 4 campers, we will try to accommodate that

number, but cannot guarantee 4 spots at this time.

If we have a total number of campers that exceeds our limits (total 98 campers), we will have to randomly choose clubs that send 4 campers and ask that you only send 2 this year.

Please make sure that you do not guarantee camper spots with students until you have been told your maximum number. Any clubs that must be changed will be notified by January 31, 2020. We will issue refunds accordingly if your maximum

number needs to be changed.

How can my club support RYLA?How can my club support RYLA?

MealsIn the past few years, the donations sent for food have allowed us to have a budget of $2.70 per camper per meal. 2018-19 that was increased to $3.33 per camper per meal. During the 2018-19 Rotary year, only 11 clubs sent money to cover the 16 meals that are served at RYLA. As a District, we need to ensure that we have the proper budget for food costs. We ask that all clubs, whether you are sponsoring a meal or not, consider sending some money for food. For those clubs that send the $500 meal sponsorship, you will still have the opportunity to come out and serve a meal at RYLA. This will continue to be done on a first come first serve basis. We do not want to continue to increase registration fees to cover food.

Rise Against Hunger: Stop Hunger NowOur RYLA staff would love to grow this program. July 2019 was the first year that the campers have been able to participate in this program. The campers had an amazing time, and RYLA staff would love to increase their reach. Any extra donations would be greatly appreciated.

Staff ScholarshipsDid you know that every year RYLA provides a $500 scholarship to one or more campers, if the budget allows? We even award an Amazing Ali scholarship in memory of Carroll Sharps granddaughter. Luckily, we are always able to award at least one, but it would be amazing if you club wanted to help one of our counselors pay for college. Interested staff are able to fill out applications at camp, and our Camp Director reviews them to make a decision on who will be awarded a scholarship.
