their authenticitThe story of the Manthei family business begins in 1930, withTed and Ernie, strawberry farmers in Northern Michigan. Risk

and providence brought them first into the veneer industry,

then construction, and finally craft concrete.

When Jim, Ben and Mark Manthei launched Rosetta Hardscapes in 2007, it was because

they wanted to offer you something new. After years working in the construction industry

they realized that homeowners and contractors lacked a landscape product option that

was both easily installed and accurate in the way that it replicated natural stone. So they

created just that.

The first product released by Rosetta Hardscapes was the Outcropping Collection. The

groundbreaking retaining wall block system looked like large stacked limestone but

stacked logically, so that installation could be twice as fast as its complicated natural

stone counterpart. Outcropping is still the only pre-cast, residential scale wall block

of its size and type. Welcomed warmly in our home of Northern Michigan, the

Outcropping collection and others are now manufactured by partners all over the world.

We understand that you try to maintain an attractive and inviting home, and that the

materials used to embellish your landscape are an important part of that endeavor.

We also know that excellent landscape contractors appreciate detail and quality. For

you, we will continue to strive to make the best looking landscape materials possible.

We at Rosetta Hardscapes, along with our media

partners, do our best to produce print and digital

materials that accurately reflect the true shades

and tones of our product. However, we cannot

guarantee perfect color matching for project photos,

color swatches, or other picture representations.

Because dye is mixed into the raw materials for all

Rosetta Hardscapes products, shades and color

variations will occur throughout each block or paver.

Therefore no product seen in a photograph will

be precisely duplicated. We recommend installing

Rosetta with materials picked from multiple pallets

for optimum color blend.

Rosetta works with manufacturers around the world

to provide each geographic market with products

suited to its native landscape. Therefore, colors vary

by region and the colors available in your area may

not be represented in this catalog. You can find

EFFLORESCENCE:

Efflorescence is a naturally occurring, chalky, white

residue commonly found on concrete surfaces.

Unfortunately, this unavoidable chemical process

occurs in all concrete products including Rosetta

Hardscapes. The presence of efflorescence in no way

degrades the integrity of any product. It can usuallybe removed with efflorescence cleaners and often

washes away over time. Rosetta Hardscapes does not

cover the presence of efflorescence under warranty.

POLYMERIC HAZE:

Improper installation of hardscape materials

Rosetta hardscape products as manufactured by Rosetta of Michigan are backed by a lifetime warran

from the manufacturer to the original end user, for products used in residential applications. Th

assurance of product quality is applicable where products have been correctly installed to manufacturerspecifications. Any properly installed hardscape material manufactured by Rosetta of Michigan tha

deteriorates due to the concrete in the product not meeting the design strength specification will be

replaced by the manufacturer. The following items are not covered by this warranty: color variances an

the appearance of surface stains resulting from chemical reactions such as efflorescence or differentia

curing; damage caused by installation; deterioration caused by de-icing salts or fertilizers; damag

resulting from sub-grade settlement or movement, hairline cracks that do not effect the structura

performance of the product, spalling of less than three percent of the surface area, contact with chemica

or paint, discoloration due to airborne contamination, staining, oxidation, or improper sealing. Produc

purchased must be registered with the manufacturer within 60 days of end users purchase for warrant

to be valid.

All warranty claims must be made prior to the removal or disposal of the defective product; Warranty

claims will be reviewed by a company representative and may require samples of defective produc

for analysis. Warranty does not include removal, installation or transportation to replace the materia
