10:30 - 11:45am: Senior Class (12-20 yrs) Teenagers are quick to learn and thrive on challenge. While having fun, the focus is on increasing complexity in steps, patterns, and dances. New friendships are formed and leadership skills develop within a popular, centuries-old, world-wide dance tradition. Teens participate in class parties, festivals, demonstrations, and balls. To quote a Rosedale teen: “The feeling that you are a part of something so big, and special, and floor-shaking never loses its magic!” Dance Scottish: Sept - May; Saturdays at Rosedale Presbyterian Church, 129 Mt Pleasant at South Drive Info: www.dancescottish.ca/Rosedale.html Or contact Moira: [email protected]
9:45 - 10:45am: Intermediate Class (8-11 yrs) Music, dance steps, and formations are the foundations of
this class. Students are gradually challenged to learn more

developing teamwork, social, and performance skills. On party days, this group LOVES to show parents and
grandparents how to dance! Two favourite events are the
annual Christmas Dance and the Youth Ball. Dance Scottish: Sept - May; Saturdays at Rosedale Presbyterian Church, 129 Mt Pleasant at South Drive Info: www.dancescottish.ca/Rosedale.html Or contact Moira: [email protected]
