Rosedale has a wide selection of filter mediaavailable to help solve your filtration problems.Our product offerings include filter bags, filtercartridges, and perforated strainer baskets.This selection features a variety of options fromlow-cost, disposable filter media; throughhigh-performance filter cartridge; to cleanablestainless steel elements.

The filtration efficiency values specified inour data (see Element Performance Chart onpage 123), are the indication of the filter'sperformance. Unlike many manufacturers,Rosedale publishes the filtration efficiency anddirt capacity of our media, providing all theinformation needed for an accurate sizingof a filter.

Our media is offered in standard grades andhigh efficiency. Standard grade refers toproducts which are nominally rated. Thismeans there is no specified efficiency at the

Rosedale Filter Media micron size but the product is interchangeable withindustry standards. Rosedale high efficiency filtermedia is rated 95%, 99%, or 99.98% efficient atthe specified micron level.

Bag or cartridge filters are usually selected so thatthe clean pressure drop does not exceed 2 psi.Change-out is recommended at 15 psid (for bags),and 30 psid (for cartridges). Higher pressure dropsmay be tolerated when contaminant loading is low.

Rosedale offers different levels offiltration to meet different needs, suchas low-cost, standard efficiency bags, upto high-efficiency, high-capacity elements.Our standard capacity elements usuallyhave about 4.4 square feet of surfacearea, holding approximately a poundof contaminant, perfect for manyapplications. The bags we offer for thislevel of filtration include our standard bag,the Beta Bag®, and our new Locktopplastic top, self-sealing bag. These bagsfit our standard side inlet housing, which,coupled with bag technology, offers easeof use, storage, and change out.

If you have contaminants in your system,Rosedale has the solution. Typically theseunique filter bag has from 5 to 25 squarefeet of surface area, and holds from 1 to 11pounds of contaminant. Offers greatbalance between cost and capacity. Filterelements in this grade of filtration includeseveral bags featuring our unique designs.The new X-Tend bag, the Surface Plus bag,the Graded Density bag, and our bag-sizedPleated Cartridge. All will fit our standardhousings, and offer features that Rosedaleis famous for, such as keeping costs downand keeping contaminants inside the bag.

If you require ultrahigh capacity filtrationand efficiency, nothing beats our Platinumseries of filter elements. They use between85 and 600 square feet of surface area tofilter out anywhere from 8 to 600 poundsof contaminant. At efficiencies as highas 99.98 at a beta rating of 5000. Imaginechanging your filter element just once everysix months. It’s possible with Rosedale’sPlatinum Elements!!! The 500 series, 700series and 900 series of Platinum elementsare large multi-surface, pleated filters,constructed like cartridges. Different Seriesfit into different Rosedale housings, butall can be accommodated in one of ourstandard style housings, offering fantasticfiltration options.
