Apr 12th: at SC & LW Family Fun Fair Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the 7th annual PTO Fun Fair an amazing success! RMS was literally bursting at the seams with happy, smiling people. We hope you had just as good of a time as we did. Thanks also goes out to all those who donated a baked item for the Cake Walk; well over 100 items were received. We would also like to thank the following businesses, groups, and individuals for their help and support: Nikki’s Cafe, Backyard Grill & Bar, Sabrosa Tex-Mex Restaurant, Anna Marias, Pickles the Clown, Stepping Stones, The Discovery Center, Laurie Grimes (Karaoke DJ), Gymnastics Academy of Rockford, Victor Macias of Ace Photography, Logli, Wal-Mart, Nick Sinnaeve at Lifetouch Portraits, Don Carter Lanes, Roscoe True Value, Catch the Wave Swim Club, RMS Boosters for use of the popcorn machine, and Mr. Etnyre, Mr. Novota, Mr. Schwuchow, and Mr. Gugliuzza for allowing us to duct tape them to the wall (they were great sports!). If there is anyone we have omitted, we sincerely apologize. Last but definitely not least, a special thank you goes out to the 100+ volunteers who donated their time to make this year’s Fun Fair a special event. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the 7th annual PTO Fun Fair an amazing success! RMS was literally bursting at the seams with happy, smiling people. Golfing 4 the Kids
Early-bird registration is now open for the 2nd Annual Golfing 4 the Kids Golf Play Day on May 19th at the beautiful Timber Pointe Golf Club in Poplar Grove, IL,. Last year’s outing was a huge success, raising about $9,000 for the schools, and we have some great things in store for you this year!
Registration is $85 per golfer and includes: Round of golf w/ cart included Golfer “goodie bag” Brunch served at the turn, or halfway through play Fun games and contests during play An awards luncheon, raffle, and silent auction following play SPECIAL OFFER for registration before April 1st: each
golfer will receive five $1 raffle tickets to use at the outing SPECIAL OFFER with online registration: receive a one-year
subscription to Golf Digest magazine ($10 value)
There are two ways to register (maximum of 144 golfers). Visit our website at www.golfing4thekids.org and click on the

*Note: If event is cancelled due to weather, golfers will all receive a pass for one free round of golf including cart for Timber Pointe.
SC / LW Yearbook
The last deadline for sending any pictures to the yearbook committee is March 21st, 2012. If
you have any pictures of class events to share, you can email the pictures to Melissa Marion at [email protected] or copy them to a CD and drop it off at the school offices. Make sure to note in the email or on the CD which classroom(s) and/or event(s) the pictures are from. Thank you..
Family Reading Night
On April 12th, the Roscoe PTO will host a family reading night at SC & LW schools. All SC & LW families are invited to attend this free event. Look for more information coming home soon!
Buffalo Wild Wings Night
