Tourist Attractions Paris=Eiffel Tower Designed by Gustave Eiffel Finished in 1889 Built of 18,000 iron pieces Supposed to be taken down but was left up Kings Island Eiffel tower is only 1/3 of the real one Rome=Roman Colosseum Built for an emperor to win his people’s love and happiness Is a theater for shows of murder People like to watch shows of people dying When one person dies, another comes in to fight.

Churches Paris= Notre Dame Was almost set on fire in 1871 and some say a staircase was set
on fire After many years of torture, all the art in Notre Dame is polished
and back to its “honey looking” color. Much of the original paintings in the building were destroyed, but
were remade by someone else to recapture their beauty.
Rome= Saint Peter’s Church The central tower is 265 feet tall!!! Stained glass windows include pictures of Jesus being born, of
Jesus on the cross, when he rose from the dead, and many other bible scenes
In the Sistine Chapel, there is a very famous picture of God giving Adam life.

Rome They are very proper just like people in Paris When a guest is over, a meal could last 1-4 hours The main meal is served like this= course 1: pasta, course 2:
meat or fish, course 3: vegetables When some one is finished, they place their silverware
parallel on their plate.
Language in Paris In Paris, most people speak French. There
may be some other languages here and there.

The other 40% speak English.
