Directive(NIS) is the first piece of EU legislation on it

software & telecom providers have different redundant systems to fight and prevent these attacks such as multi-level encryption information, firewalls,

alternative communication lines

Cybersecurity is one the synergies

In 2017 Juncker launched an initiative to reinforce ENISA, & the establishment of an EU

cybersecurity certification

CEF-Telecom Cyber Security Call

Acquisition of IT systems (e.g. firewalls, tools for treat assessment, simulation environments)

Training facilities Skills and structural support development awareness

campaigns, hackathons, cyber exercises, etc.

Funding is granted to Operators of Essential Services Transport and Energy operators particularly welcome

Opening 16 May 2018 Closing 22 November 2018 Expected contribution 150,000€.

It would facilitate the development of the EU energy market, and more optimal use of renewable energy

Digital energy services e-platforms • Renewable energy e-platform: forecast generation across

the EU accessible to generators, TSOs, DSOs, aggregators, etc.

• Advanced simulation platform: monitor and predict evolution of energy market

Digital infrastructure to optimise energy interconnects • Need for more coordination TSOs/DSOs and among DSOs • Enable digital and physical interconnections at distribution

level across international borders • New value added services exploiting IoT, 5G and IoE
