Rolling Rocks, October 28, 2016 Rolling Rocks Today’s Colloquium Today’s colloquium will be held at 3:30 pm in Braunstein 201. The colloquium will be given by our very own Professor Attila Kilinc. His talk is titled: “How to gain deeper insights into geochemical problems using computational geochemistry”. This will be followed by refreshments in the Rug Room. Yeon gets an award Yeon Jee just got awarded $2,800 for Inter-university Training for Continental-scale Ecology (ITCE) Research-in-Residence Program at University of Utah to conduct research in the laboratory and with the guidance of ITCE-affiliated faculty member Gabe Bowen for two weeks. Votes needed Yeon Jee is competing in the International Student Travel Video contest, and she wants to share her video with the department and get your help to vote for her video! The title is "My Journey to Protect Planet Earth", and it is about her research and travels. (You will see some familiar faces in the video!)
