With the ability to span up to 14 metre widths and 4 metre projections, the awnings can be face or top mounted with individually designed brackets to suit each system. Independently tested by European quality and safety expert TUV Rheinland, each system features a contemporary colour range with the option of custom colouring to suit any exterior décor.

UNIQUE DYNAMIC ARM TORSION SYSTEM

The DAT innovative folding arm torsion mechanism, combined with distinctive design and high quality components, delivers outstanding mechanical performance. Klip, Stein and Kumo awnings are fitted with the rounded look Home arm that compliments the awning’s overall contemporary design. Shan features a state of the art Urban arm providing ultimate strength to achieve 4 metre projections and neatly encloses inside the modern square cassette.

PRESERVES FABRIC The DAT is specifically designed and engineered to prevent fabric damage and sag by holding it constantly taut. With no rubbing action, the enhanced arm strength eliminates wear and tear and prevents unsightly marks.

AWNING DURABILITY An advanced eight link stainless steel chain provides the awnings with increased strength whilst Teflon coating delivers marine grade protection, perfect for all year round weather conditions. Minimizing the arm torsion angle during the operation, the DAT system design reduces the mechanism tractive effort which increases the folding arm life cycle.

ILIOS

FULLY INTEGRATED & VERSATILE

Rollease Acmeda’s award winning ILIOS awnings, combine high performance engineering with cutting edge design. Utilising versatile hardware and superior components, the Ilios can be manufactured into either a straight drop wire guide or pivot arm projection awning, ensuring a similar look and feel across various applications. The wire guide achieves drops of 3m, whilst the pivot arm reaches up to 1.5m projections, both spanning up to 4 metre widths. Tested and certified to withstand winds up to 50 kilometres per hour, Ilios is available in a choice of manual or motorised control. The patented fully enclosed round cassette with integrated weight bar will provide exceptional fabric protection. Awarded the prestigious red dot design in 2012, Ilios guarantees outstanding performance and is sure to enhance the look of any outdoor living space.

KLIP

REINVENTED CLASSIC

KLIP is one of two traditional systems in the Rollease Acmeda awnings range. Its vertical design is best suited to open style face fix applications, where it is fitted with high quality die cast aluminium brackets and arm supports. Klip’s patented design comes with a choice of manual or motorised control options. The tilt of the awning can be adjusted in single degree increments from 5 to 65 degrees, to suit a variety of shading requirements. This strong and sturdy awning has been tested to withstand winds up to 50 kilometres per hour, and can achieve spans up to 14 metres wide with projections out to 3.5 metres. These features caught the eye of judges at the prestigious R+T Innovation awards where it was a finalist in 2009. All Klip hardware can be colour matched to suit your exterior décor, whilst stainless steel fixings ensure optimal long lasting performance. An optional top cover is also available to protect the fabric from outdoor elements.

STEINCOMPACT AND SLIMLINE

Similar to Klip, STEIN is also a traditional-style awning. Featuring a horizontal design, Stein is best suited for top fix installation under roof eaves. The tilt of the awning can be adjusted in single degree increments from 5 to 85 degrees, to suit a variety of shading requirements. Stein has been tested to withstand winds up to 50 kilometres per hour, supported with die cast aluminium brackets and quality stainless steel fittings. The 14 metre width span, 3.5 metre arm projection and its compact design, make Stein an ideal awning for residential or commercial applications. With a patented design that will ensure its longevity in the market, Stein also comes with colour-matched hardware and is available with a manual or motorised control system. An optional top cover is available to protect the fabric from outdoor elements.

KUMO

CONTEMPORARY & REFINED

Rollease Acmeda’s KUMO awning is a fully enclosed system that contains very few components, making it easy to assemble and install. The smooth, round cassette protects the fabric while not in use and the tilt of the awning can be adjusted in single degree increments from 5 to 85 degrees. Kumo can be either top or face fixed, with quality die cast aluminium brackets and supports, is manufactured with stainless steel fixings and has no visible screws. Tested to withstand winds up to 50 kilometres per hour, Kumo can achieve width spans up to 6 metres and a 3 metre arm projection. Choose between a manual or motorised control system and colour match the hardware to suit the look of your home.

Rollease Acmeda’s top of the range awning, SHAN, offers state-of-the-art performance, built on ultimate design and functional qualities. A standout shading product, Shan’s patented design won the internationally recognised Red Dot Design Award in 2010. This awning’s grooved cover face glistens in the sun adding optimum aesthetics to its functional, high quality specifications which will enhance the look of any architectural facade. The contemporary, fully enclosed square cassette ensures the blind is protected when not in use, with an added gasket that protects against water damage. Shan uses a motorised control system and can achieve an extensive 10 metre width span, an impressive 4 metre arm projection, and can be adjusted to tilt up to 40 degrees in single degree increments. Fixed with quality die cast aluminium brackets and supports, Shan has been tested to withstand winds up to 50 kilometres per hour and is easily maintained and cleaned.

AWNING ACCESSORIES

Rollease Acmeda Automate range of motors provides a complete motorised solution for both open style and closed cassette awnings. The EL A50 motor is suitable for Klip and Stein, offering easy 5 step programming and the ability to achieve spans up to 8 metres, while the EL A50/C, is ideal for Kumo and Shan, featuring a self-tightening fabric function to ensure a perfectly sealed cassette.

Complementing the EL motors are the RF500 series modern slimline remote controls. Available in single and multi-channel as well as the premium five channel timer remote, allowing you to schedule preferred opening and closing times. A wind and light sensor is also available providing exceptional automatic operation, opening and retracting the awning according to sunlight and wind speed intensity, so you don’t have to.
