What is communication?Communication is the flow of material information, perception, understanding and imagination between two parties .It is not only based on the transmission of idea between individuals.Effective communication is a two way street that deals with the delivery of message by following the value and intensity of the message transmitted on the receiver’s mind .

Role of listener in effective communication:-Effective communication is less about talking and more about listening. When you’re an engaged listener, not only will you better understand the other person, you’ll also make that person feel heard and understood.

What is listening :-listening is the interpretative action taken by the listener in order to understand and potentially make meaning out of the sound waves.
