The Peach of an Athlete Role Model Banquet recognizes amateur and professional athletes whose lives share the same values of Scoung. Joe Arnold, SVP, SunTrust Bank presents a warm tribute to Atlanta’s own former Scout, and Hall of Fame legend from the Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves, Hank Aaron. 2021 Peach of an Athlete Professional Honoree, Grady Jarre, Atlanta Falcons, speaks about his duty to public service and role model leadership for youth. Commiee Chair Walter Sth presents Amateur Athlete Awards to aending recipients Siena Gore, Kennesaw State University, and Ed Curney, Georgia State University. Tracy Techau, CEO, Atlanta Area Council, and Event Chair Craig Gunckel, CEO, Iconex, LLC, present Honoree Thomas Fanning, President and CEO, Southern Company with the Bobby Jones Award. Tom Fanning, Chairman, President and CEO, Southern Company, gives remarks on being honored as a Bobby Jones recipient and the importance of role models.
