Über mich…Kurz vor meinem zweiten Geburtstag wurden mir meine ersten Skis an die Füsse geschnallt. Da ich

in einem der schönsten Skigebiete der Schweiz, Churwalden/Parpan/Lenzerheide, aufgewachsen bin, gehörte Skifahren zu meinen Hauptaktivitäten. Mit 6 Jahren trat ich dem Skiclub Parpan bei. Mit zwölf wurde ich fürs Britische Childrens Skiteam selektioniert und 2009 für das England Junior Team.

Diese Saison bin ich in das Britische Junioren Kader aufgestiegen. Ausserdem bin ich ein Mitglied der Trainingszelle Mittelbünden, des englischen Ski Clubs DHO, welcher in Wengen gegründet wurde und

des Mardens Ski Club in Klosters, wo auch Prinz Charles ein Mitglied ist. Leider habe ich ihn dort noch nie gesehen oder hatte noch nie die Ehre gegen Ihn ein Rennen zu fahren… oder er gegen mich, oder wie

auch immer!

Mein erstes FIS Jahr habe ich mit vielen tollen Erlebnissen hinter mir und im Riesenslalom mit 87 Punkten bin ich ganz zufrieden. Nun freue ich mich mit neuen Partnern und Sponsoren in die neue Rennsaison zu

starten. Ich danke Rohner sehr für ihre Unterstützung und ich bin total motiviert und kann’s kaum erwarten, bis es wieder richtig los geht.

In meiner Freizeit singe ich leidenschaftlich gerne und begleite mich mit meiner Western Gitarre. Sollte

mein Skitraum nicht in Erfüllung gehen, werde ich es vielleicht mit Musik versuchen. Also Winehouse und Co. aufgepasst!!! Meine Familie ist ein sehr wichtiger Teil in meinem Leben, denn sie unterstützt mich wo immer sie kann und sie sind alle sehr stolz auf mich. Meine Schwester Sam ist total crazy und ich liebe sie dafür. Sie ist eine super Leichtathletin und sprintet mir mit Ihren 10 Jahren jetzt schon um die Ohren. Ich

liebe den englischen Humor und mein Daddy bringt mich täglich zum Lachen. Und meine Mama ist einfach die beste Mama auf der Welt.

Volleyball spiele ich ebenfalls seit ich laufen kann. Mein Vater war in der englischen Nationalmannschaft und er spielte

jede freie Minute mit mir und es ist ein guter Ausgleich zum Skifahren und macht viel Spass. Leichtathletik habe ich immer gerne am Fernseher verfolgt und wenn es mein Trainingsplan

zulässt, nehme ich zum Teil auch an Meetings teil. 2008 und 2009 wurde ich Bündnermeisterin im 1000 m.

Über mich....Seit ich vor gut 6 Jahren das erste mal ein Snowboard angeschnallt habe, bin ich davon total angefressen. Seit 2006 fahre ich auch offiziell nationale und internationale Wettkämpfe mit. Es bedeutet mir unglaublich viel, auf meinem Snowboard mit den Pisten und Parks zu spielen, meine hohen Ziele zu verfolgen und diese zu erreichen. Deswegen vergeht kein Tag an dem ich nicht irgend etwas für meinen Traum „Snowboard-Pro“ mache.

Um meinen Traum nicht nur zu träumen, nehme ich viel Zeit auf mich um zu trainieren. Sei es beim Skatboarden, Trampolin springen, Joggen, Radfahren oder Surfen aber auch Schule und Mentaltraining gehören dazu. Nur so kann ich sicherstellen, das mein Körper und mein Geist bereit sind um alle Tricks zu erlernen und vor Publikum zu zeigen.

Dies alles würde nicht funktionieren, wenn meine Familie nicht von Anfang an, Voll und Ganz hinter meinem Ziel gestanden und mich unterstützt hätten. Sie geben mir Halt und teilen mit mir Leid und Freud. Dank der zusätzlichen Unterstützung meiner Partner und Sponsoren, durfte ich letzte Saison für 3 Monate nach Amerika an die Windells-Academy in Portland. Dort konnte ich nebst einem 3-monatigen Teilzeitstudium „Kaplan High School“, sehr viele neue Freunde gewinnen, professionelle Snowboard-Trainings absolvieren und so an meinen Tricks arbeiten. In diesen 3 Monaten hatte ich mich für die US-Nationals Championships qualifiziert. Leider musste ich aber wegen abgelaufenem Visum vorher aus den USA ausreisen. Aber das werde ich, dank der tollen Zusammenarbeit mit RohnerSocks, diese Saison wiederum Top motiviert nachholen. Ebenso möchte ich die neue Rennsaison dazu nutzen um in meiner Disziplin „Halfpipe“, FIS-Punkte zu sammeln.

Natürlich braucht es auch ein Leben neben dem Sport. Einfach abschalten und Energie auftanken.

Sei es beim kochen für die Familie, beim Musik hören oder einfach beim Zusammensein mit

meinen Freunden oder meiner Freundin.

CRAbYON fi bres are made from a mixture of chitosan, viscose and cotton. Chitosan is derived from the exoskeletons of crabs and other crustaceans, which are made primarily of chitin. Die wolle schützt die schafe sowohl gegen extreme kälte wie auch grosse hitze. socken, in denen merinowolle verarbeitet ist, bieten demnach im winter wie auch im sommer höchstem tragekomfort. Darüber hinaus kratzt diese feinmaschige wollsorte absolut nicht.

MERINO WOOL is the wool from the Merino sheep, originating in Spain. Approximately 200 years ago, the sheep was exported to Australia, where breeding practices increasingly concentrated on the improvement of the wool. Feuchtigkeit wird mit hilfe von high-tech-garnen (z.b. coolmax®) in Puff er geleitet. Diese Puff er aus baumwoll- oder wollplüsch nehmen die Feuchtigkeit auf und speichern sie. Die aufgenommene Feuchtigkeit kann nun in speziell entwickelten luftkanälen – den Air channels – verdunsten und durch luftzirkulation innerhalb der kanäle aus dem schuh transportiert werden. resultat: ein hitzestau im schuh wird verhindert. Zu dem garantieren wir ihnen mehr komfort durch trockene Füsse und trockenere socken!

Diese speziell entwickelte und patentierte rippkonstruktion zeichnet sich durch ihre konische strickart aus. Das elastische rohr garantiert einen perfekten sitz, rutscht nicht, und schneidet nicht ein.

nach alter tradition werden rohner socken vorwiegend handgekettelt, d.h. von hand wird jede einzelne masche eines strumpfes auf einen nadelkranz aufgezogen und mit der gegenüberliegenden masche verbunden. so entsteht die handgekettelte Flachnaht, die ein komfortables traggefühl garantiert.

Dampness is drawn into the terry with the help of High Tech Yarns (i.e. Coolmax®). The puff ers, which are made of cotton or woollen terry, collect and store the dampness. The collected dampness can then evaporate in specially developed «air channels», and then be transported out of the shoe by air circulation within the channels. The results: A build up of heat in the shoe is prevented. In addition we guarantee more comfort through dry feet and dryer socks!

This specially designed and patented rib construction is characterised by its conical weave. The elastic ribbing guarantees perfect fi t, does not slip and does not cut into the skin.

Traditionally, Rohner Socks are predominantly hand-linked, which means that each and every stitch in a stocking is pulled up on the needle and attached to the adjacent stitch by hand. This creates the hand-linked fl at loop seams which guarantees wearing comfort.
