My StoryMy name is Rody Lafrance; I am currently 17 years old (turning 18 in April, woohoo) attending North Miami Beach Senior School. I plan on studying Music Production as well as Audio Engineering and Graphic Designing. My story goes like this

Actual StoryBefore I entered middle school (alumni of North Miami Middle School), I didnt know ANYTHING about music. I was one of those kids where I would get the guitar and start strumming strings out of nowhere; I wasnt playing actual musicI was making straight up NOISE. During that time I didnt know who I wanted to be as I tried football during the beginning of middle school but it didnt work out. However, during my middle school years I ran across a great guitar instructor who taught a class, was very fun at his job, taught me extra pointers on guitar, told me of other resources I could use for learning guitar, etc. Because of him, my guitar career would start from there (this was during the year of Late 2010) . From that point on, I began learning more about music, began playing piano, achieved perfect pitch (almost), produced music, etc. I cant wait for the future!!!

Guitars Over GunsI am also a part of a program known today as Guitars Over Guns Organization where mentors come over at middle schools and teach at-risk kids music. If it wasnt for this program I dont know where I would be right now so I thank God for this organization and Im happy that I got to meet the founder of GOGO (Chad Bernstein) and other mentors like Jono DeLeon, Eric Escanes, Danny Hayoun, etc. To check out the website, heres a link: http://guitarsoverguns.org/If you would like to know more about this organization, call this number: (847)-420-6327
