The museum complex shall utilize technology

innovations and construction materials that will

combine to create an environmentally friendly

and sustainable building. Its design shall convey

a sense of a ship that is moving from the view

from the highway, while enabling guests in the

complex to have a view of the lake.

Building material include glass curtain walls, stucco finish and

steel cladding for the ship-like structure for the second floor,

and LEED materials

Utilizing a combination

of solar panels and wind

lowers its dependence

on the city’s power

grid, and can even sell

extra electricity back to

the city.
