iStatus Network Performance Monitoring (NPM)

iStatus is our distributed network monitoring platform. With it, your client gain visibility to all of their locations and to all of their connections and 4G data usage. They get DataAlerts™ based on 4G data usage, and IntelligentAlerts™ whenever problems occur. Your client can see all of their broadband connections, all of their 4G connections from any PC, iOS, or Android device, and know which locations have Internet connectivity and which do not.

A small IoT monitoring appliance is installed in each of your client’s locations — allowing iStatus to monitor connectivity which correlates directly with their locations — eliminating guesswork. Our distributed monitoring architecture overcomes many limitations of other approaches and is up to 95% less expensive than traditional monitoring solutions which rely on a Windows-based host in each location.

Patent pending Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) can be added to iStatus, giving your client the ability to monitor devices or critical cloud services on their LAN, WAN, or Internet. NPM licenses enable your client to monitor up to 10 devices or services from each iStatus probe. Licenses are sold to allow your client to monitor 1, 5, or 10 devices/services per probe.

Note 1: An iStatus Base License must be owned before an iStatus NPM License can be purchased. Both can be purchased at the same time.

Note 2: A sensor is defined as one aspect of a device or service that you can monitor such as the ping time of a device on the LAN, or a cloud service you need on the Internet. With HTTP/HTTPS monitoring, you can monitor a specific URL on your LAN or a cloud service on the Internet. If you wanted to ping google.com and also measure the load time of the google website you would need two sensors.

Note-2 - Advanced iStatus features require an iStatus probe. iStatus connection monitoring service enables advanced monitoring, testing, validation and alerting of your connections with iOS, Android, and PC visibility to all connections across all locations. iStatus provides data usage information as well as failover event notification.

Note-3 - Static (IPv4) IP Address ($500 value) is included as a standard feature on Verizon and on AT&T RocketWAN connections. Static public IP addresses are not available on ATT Internet plans.

Note-4 - RocketBroadband Multi-Carrier data pooling allows you to use AT&T or Verizon and combine and use data in multiple locations as a single unified data pool. This enables you to select the best carrier per location or to utilize multi-carrier technologies such as VitalConnectivity™.

Note-5 - Monthly data cap can be set higher or lower than this amout if desired. Higher data caps require a security deposit
