+Assigning Students: Passwords As the coach you will create a USER NAME and PASSWORD for each student competing in Global Issues or Scenario.

We highly recommend using something simple with a universal format for all of your participants. Passwords are case sensitive, so consistency is advised!

Page 24: Rock with ROCS

+Chill Out, We’ve Got You Covered Just as in the past, coaches will be able to make changes to teams, add teams, etc. as the year progresses!

To give your students lots of “playtime” and practice, we recommend that coaches register as soon as possible! One of the coolest features of ROCS is the ability for students to chat with their teammates during competition!

+ROCS-STARS, Start Your Engines…

Since this is our first time to attempt online competitions in GIPS, PP#1 will NOT be timed!

Your students can work on this booklet as long as they need up until the deadline of October 4, 2011.

Our goal is to use technology more, encourage communication among students all while saving time and money for your school/district by eliminating shipping costs. Please be open minded and give ROCS a try!
